If you want to get food poisoning pick this company. Extremely sick 2 times within a month. Done
I have tried a lot of meal kit services and this has been the only one I hated from the start. Because they didn't put any dry ice in my delivery and none of my meals were fresh. It was just in an insulated bag which is only good for picnics and barbecues. I try my best to get my deliveries when I am home but sometimes they come late and every company like Hello Fresh, Home Chef, Dinnerly, and Factor always send my food with dry ice and on the off chance it comes in the afternoon, I come home in the evening, everything is absolutely perfect. And when I cancelled my membership and told them why they didn't even try to make it right. Total waste of money.
HORRIBLE COMPANY. I was a first-time customer with this company. I made an order to be delivered on 1/10/2025. I never received the order. I sent an email, and finally a few days later I got a response back saying they put my money into their account for my next order. I’M NEVER ORDERING FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN. After my experience reading the reviews it would be a waste of more money to either not get my delivery or horrible tasting food. I have disputed this company with my bank multiple times and sent 2 letters to the Federal Trade Commission about this company. I wished I read the reviews before I ordered. Years ago, I heard it was a great company, but at that time they did not deliver were I lived. I was so excited to try this company since they supposedly deliver in the new town I live in, but soon that turned out to be a disappointment. All I’m left with is disappointment and regret. I suggest to any potential new customers to play it safe and DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SHAM OF A COMPANY.
Meals were never delivered. Emailed customer service and they never responded. Automated response said 48 hours for a reply and we are now on day 4. Incredibly frustrating especially when you depend on it.
I used to looooooove this food service EVERYTHING was soooo good. Here lately the food has been sooooo disgustingly SALTY!! I thought this was a healthy food Meal Prep. Unfortunately the taste quality has gone extremely haywire and i find myself skipping more weeks versus actually using my subscription. PLEASE TELL YOUR CHEFS TO FIX THIS ASAP SO WE CAN ENJOY MORE FOOD FROM YALL. YUCK !!!
Our very first delivery was going to be a day late because of snow.
2nd day they said they wouldn't deliver because of the weather.
I've been out all day and roads were mostly clear, people out shopping, other deliveries being delivered. So, I CANCELLED AND WILL NOT EVER USE THEM. A waste of time if we can't count on needed deliveries.
I guess they don't care if we eat or not.
I have used this company on and off for a couple years now but I wouldnt recommend them because i recently discovered their customer service is terrible.
My plan was on pause and i hadnt selected any meals. This company auto selected my meals and automatically charged my card without my permission. I didnt recieve a text or notification that they were going to do this. This goes in line with subscription companies charging customers crazy fees when they either cancel or pause. This company uses tactics like making it hard to cancel online or on the app. Auto selecting meals without consent or opt in, customer service response delays, hidden fees
Considering my experience, I would not recommend this service.
1) Your day is going to be ruined by this company.
2) It's awful to deal with customer service.
3) There is no phone number where you can reach them.
4) Charging without authorization.
5) You will receive the wrong order.
6) A total of 8 pieces. One is expired.
I am still waiting for my money to be refunded.
Ordered this for my parents who live in another state. Food wasn't bad but customer service is terrible and all online. No one to speak with when there are problems!
Wasted my $63. Cook Unity never delivered the food to my daughter's apartment and I have no way of communicating with them. Never had this problem with GreenChef or Hello fresh. Would really like a refund.

Horrible customer service.. they charged me after I skipped my delivery and refused to refund me. I had ordered with them times before, so for this to happen and for them to treat me as if my business didn’t matter to them was all I needed to see. I will not support a company that look at their customers as just a number. Plus the food is average at best, nothing spectacular.
Very disappointed. Meals were not fresh. They refused to cancel my subscription and charged my credit card for a shipment I did not order. I feel like I am being scammed. Shame on you, cookunity for bad customer service..
I stopped using them because they reuse their cool packs and they too often have holes in them, so it gets all over the food. I warned them if it happened again, I'm done and I am.
So far this has been my favorite meal service. This is due primarily to the quality and taste of the food. It’s not low calorie but it’s easy and delicious! I’ve like every meal I’ve tried.

Really enjoyed my first 2 meal shipments. The meals arrived on time as stated on my orders and nicely packaged with ice packs and in a zipper bag with handles. I like the idea that these meals have never been frozen and are ready to eat without all that kitchen mess and food prep. I was totally surprised on how great these meals tasted. The portions are more than enough to eat and taste like 5 star restaurant quality. These meals help me with portion control and to maintain a good diet regime. I'm definitely going to be a long-term client of Cook Unity.
Vegetarian options: There is a good balanced mix of vegetarian and meat dishes.
