Great place to hangout and have a drink. The outdoor area is shaded and has plenty of tables and chairs. There are several food trucks with the usual fare. Parking can be a little tight at busy hours.

Overall this is a very cute place with ponds and lots of people who bring their dogs. There are multiple food trucks available for all meals of the day, and I tried the Mexican food truck which had delicious Chilaquiles and Breakfast Tacos. In the main coffee shop/bar there were was a wide range of options for drinks both caffeinated and decaffeinated, as well as boozy drinks. The apple cider was great, however my wife said her Mexican Mocha just tasted like milk with a hint of cinnamon, despite paying for an extra shot of espresso. My main gripe with this place though is the waiting time in line and for orders. The lines for coffee especially are crazy long and then a similar wait time to get your drinks. Then if you want food, you have to go and wait in another line to order, and wait again for food to pickup. Most of my time spent here was on waiting and you almost have to choose between a hot drink or a hot meal.

Cosmic on Pickle Road is one of my favorite spots in Austin. Brian, the manager, always checks in to make sure we have everything we need he genuinely cares about the guest experience and sets such a welcoming tone. The whole team has great energy and positive vibes every time.
Great selection of coffee, teas, local beer on tap… the beergarita is delicious and the Stellar Seltzer is perfect to chill and listen to some good tunes. I love the new expansion, more bathrooms, more space to relax, and plenty of areas to read or get some work done. Cosmic just keeps getting better every time I visit!

Cosmic made a change in which they no longer serve drip coffee and their espresso drinks are machine made versus hand pulled. I am not sure why they made this downgrade but it's no longer a legitimate location for coffee

I didn’t enjoy getting called the “N-word” by the blonde bartender last night. Not sure if he was just drunk or thought it was a term of endearment for some reason, but it was odd because I don’t know him. It felt inappropriate. I’d frequent Cosmic with friends often because I enjoy the food trucks (especially Wow Poke) and outdoor space, but my experience last night left a sour impression on me and I’m not sure if I’d return.

Had the miso butterscotch latte. One if the best lattes I've had to date in Austin. Fun to explore with kids and look at koi, chickens, pet viditing dogs, and look at the fairy waterfall gardens. Some excellent examples of food gardens and permaculture! Extremely friendly barista staff. Will be back.
