Tasty bbq and fun atmosphere.
A great place to visit if you are hungry and want good barbecue. My wife and I stopped here stopped here because we saw the sign on the side of the road pointing to the restaurant and we had good experience with the County Line barbecue restaurant in north Houston, though we have no idea whether or not they are affiliated.
The only thing we were disappointed about was completely our fault, we asked to sit in a booth, which was comfortable enough, but as we were talking during our meal we realized we were missing out on the magnificent view across the valley. Oh well.
But still, the food was excellent, we ate sliced brisket and barbecue sausage, both of which were delicious, the fries were good but the beans were not good, they were bland. Overall it was an excellent choice and we will be back to eat AND enjoy the view.

Great service and cool place with an amazing view from the patio. The food does not match the atmosphere and service.
2nd cut brisket tasted more like corned beef and the sausage was fine but nothing special.
The famous bread was okay but I was expecting something special.
I’d give it another try but not anytime soon.

Brisket and ribs and I will have some sausage too
Awesome unique potato salad, top notch traditional beans. Distinctive Cole slaw. And their sauce on the side should be bottled and distributed state wide. I recommend everything mentioned and We Will Be Back
Atmosphere + In Austin you can not beat the view from the dining patio. 10 stars and my own eating 10 RIB BONES, It is Texas y'all and they serve what you should be eating. Meet us there.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at County Line BBQ and was thoroughly impressed. The food was fantastic, offering classic BBQ flavors that were truly delicious.
What truly elevated the experience, however, was the exceptional service. The hostess, Zada, was incredibly welcoming and a perfect start to the meal. Our server, Hannah, was amazing—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. She made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit.
The management team was also a standout. They were super friendly, accommodating, and clearly dedicated to providing an excellent customer experience. It's rare to see such a high level of service across all staff members.
Overall, this was the best service I've experienced in Austin in a long time. County Line BBQ is not just a place for great food, but for an outstanding dining experience thanks to their wonderful staff.

I’m just happy this Austin icon hasn’t been demolished like the rest of the town. Love the sunsets and a big plate food. The cheese bites are my favorite with a jalapeño margarita. Haley gave us excellent service on our last visit. Sometimes this comfort food & place really hits the spot.

If you read a negative review from someone, don't pay any attention. Probably a employee of a lousy BBQ place! My wife and I just had the great pleasure of eating there. Best BBQ we have experienced in Texas and that's saying a lot. To start order a half loaf or a full loaf of their homemade bread. It's delicious and better than any bakery could make. My wife enjoyed the beef brisket sandwich and I ordered the BBQ half chicken. As good as it could possibly be and at a very fair price as well. The view is fabulous. This isn't just a great restaurant but an experience that is totally enjoyable!

Love this place, came from NYC with my husband and drove by this place, stopped and I was not disappointed, food very good, drinks (margarita and 512 beer) and the dessert was amazing (Peach cobbler & vanilla milkshake). The view was also lovely.

GG's Service & Margaritas That Hit the Spot
We had a lovely lunch—the service really stood out thanks to our waiter, Gianna, who was incredibly friendly and always checking in to see if we needed anything. The margaritas were fantastic, and the view made them even more enjoyable. It would've been nice to have some fresh vegetables on the menu, but overall, it’s a great spot to relax and take in the atmosphere.

I ordered the pork and beef ribs with the side of fried okra and a side of green beans. Our server was easy to find whenever we needed him, because the place was pretty empty. But continuous service wasn't really a thing there unless you called your waiter over. The ribs were terrible. You can tell they were boiled pre-cooked probably Frozen. The okra was decent green beans also just decent. Nothing of wow about when you come sides. Very overpriced for the food that you're given when you're expecting quality. Seems as they're going for a quantity. Don't think I'll be going back there which is crazy cuz I used to like this place a few years ago. But it's definitely gone way down in quality since then. On my way out I did notice the rooftop decorations and it just made me giggle. See photo.

This place has a great atmosphere and the view makes it a wonderful spot for a meal. The service was excellent even though they were super busy. Deviled eggs are well done and hit the spot and the cheese bites were decent. The brisket baked potato was decent sized. Unfortunately the brisket on top was dry and borderline unpalatable, the toppings such as sour cream and butter was very minimal. I was quite disappointed by it and I'm not sure if it was a one off. The sausage and brisket sandwich were alright and well portioned. The potato salad was decent too. Our friend had ordered ribs but they seemed overly fatty and she's much too nice to to say anything but I could tell she was disappointed and it wasn't what she was expecting from her previous experience. The peach cobbler I was told was excellent. This is a well established joint and honestly, I would come back for apps and cobbler but if I'm looking for brisket or ribs this isn't the spot for me personally.
