Make a reservation and call ahead doesn’t mean they’ll seat you. Disappointed and irritated is an understatement. frustrated on thanksgiving of all days.
I love this place!

We had a great experience. The wine flights were very well curated. The food was delicious, they had some unusual pairings that really worked well together.
But what made this a 5 star experience was the service and atmosphere. The manager, Jesse, was helping serve us as he was training a new hire. His service excellence really showed through and you could tell the other employees cared about their work. That is so refreshing today when many places the employees just don't seem to care and are not bought in to what they do. Wine knowledge and recommendations were on point and the selection was great.
We will definitely be back.

For the first time we met the general manager Jesse. We have been coming to this Cru at this location since 2012. Jesse was very friendly, courteous, respectful, and helpful with wine and cheese suggestions. Service provided by Jesse general manager and Scott waiter was outstanding. My husband and I sat outside. It was a great experience, quiet and peaceful location even though Cru is next to current construction site that was suppose to be completed October 7th.

My wife and I visit Cru at The Domain quite often. This weekend, I took my wife and her mom to brunch there to celebrate my wife's birthday. We ordered a couple appetizers and three entrees. The food was delicious. As always, the service was exceptional. The staff really took good care of my wife on her special day. The only issue is the "remodeling" of the area outside Cru as The Domain is upgrading the open area around Cru, North, True Food and the Ice Cream place. The construction will be done soon and then that area will be quite nice to hang out in for both adults and a play area for kids. Overall, a great experience.
The walls were covered with bottles of wine, suggesting that there would be a substantial selection which looked fun, but the reality was that there was a somewhat limited selection of wines and many of them were low budget type wines. Doesn't really fulfill the 'wine bar' image. Food was ok. White wine was served warm.
Lovely wine at a good price. Lobster podsuckers were delicious. Fried goat cheese was good too.

it's hard to find anything good to say about our experience other than it was easy to get a table since there was basically no one there. the food was mediocre at best, i spent more time walking up to the bar to place orders than our server spent at our table, and the prices are probably double what they should be based on the quality of the food. i got the "prime" ny strip and my wife got the scallops. there's no way the steak i got was prime grade. you can find better quality on the 'buy one get two free' aisle at Randall's. the scallops were about half the size i expected and tasted like they came from that same Randall's aisle. our server displayed absolutely zero desire to do her job and for what we paid, you'd think we were at truluck's or roaring fork.
Our server, Clara was great. Attentive and friendly. However, the general manager came out and was loudly scolding her in front of me and my friends table as we were the only people in the restaurant. It was extremely rude and unprofessional to be raising his voice at an employee (who was doing a great job) in front of guests. My friend and I have well over 20+ years of bartending experience between us and have never seen this happen. We did intervene and tell him this was rude but he didn’t seem to care. He just took his glass of wine to the back and disappeared. The wine, food and service have always been great but the manager is terrible to his staff. And if he’s willing to yell at them in front of guests I cannot imagine what happens in the back of house.
Vegetarian options: I love the little gem salad and their pizza is phenomenal. Great happy hour with veggie options.

We went specifically for Champagne Thursday, where they have half off bottles of champagne. I ordered a bottle, the waitress goes to look for it and they did not have it. No big deal, I order a different one. Same thing. Ok, bummer. I try a different one. Long story short, I ordered 6 different bottles all to be told after searching for each one that they didn't have them. The waitress at this point was clearly irritated and said that the menu is very outdated and people don't usually order bottles. She told me to walk around and look at the wall where all the bottles were stored and pick one from there, as those would be in stock. Mind you, this is not a small wall and I wouldn't know pricing that way. I felt overwhelmed at that point and said I didn't know what to do. I wanted to leave but we had order apps already. She asked me in a rude tone, “well how am I supposed to help you?” I felt bad for her because she was stressed, but I don't understand the frustration with me. I was just trying to order a bottle. If the menus are outdated, they need to be updated. Anyway, she finally took the wine list and marked next to the ones in stock, so we could get one. This whole ordeal took 40 minutes. The food was good, but the service was awful. Don't advertise half off bottles of champagne and then get mad at customers for trying to order one.
There was only one other table seated at the restaurant at 11:30am on a Sunday which should have been the first sign for us to leave. When it came time to order the waitress was somewhat unfamiliar with the menu, not knowing an egg came on the hash. The brunch menu was extraordinarily limited, so this was concerning and it seemed we couldn't get a straw until we asked for a third time. Upon ordering the waitress came back and told us there was only enough for one hash. Clearly this restaurant uses leftover meat for the hash (short ribs) and half of our party had to reorder. We were there an hour before any food came which was strange considering there were still only six people in the restaurant including us. The waitress apologized for the delay and brought some goat cheese balls as an offering. When the food finally arrived, all but one dish were cold (eggs-yum) and my side salad which I asked to be undressed was wilted and soaked in dressing. Perhaps the salad was also from last night like the hash meat. The steak on the steak and eggs entree was petite as described and one of the two ounces of meat was fat. The bathrooms were dirty -both men's and women's and were only stocked with paper towel once one of our party asked for it to be stocked. The women's sink counter was dirty as well as the hand soap pump that appeared to be half full of water.
I've been to Cru many times to have a drink and cheese platter on the patio and enjoyed it although it is pricy. This time had dinner inside and thought it was "meh" my salmon was swimming in water (literally), they were out of glasses so I couldn't try a flight of wine, and the dinner came out too soon while we were eating our cheese platter. So recommend for a little drink after shopping but wouldn't return for a full dinner
Love this place for wine and small eats

Service was slow(there was no one there either) , it was EXTREMELY HOT the entire time , the food was below average for the price and was pretty cold and the only good thing I can say is that the appetizer was good but it was a grilled cheese and tomato soup kinda hard to mess up .
