In an increasingly boring and corporate Austin, this place has stayed true to its roots as a local hangout. It’s an absolute hidden gem. I hope it never changes.

Food is good, beer selection is surprisingly good, and you get a great mix of pretentious graduate students, yuppies from Hyde Park, bearded old hippies, random stragglers and more. Always lively, and the patio is where all the best convos are happening in Austin.

Best place ever! The bartenders are hilarious, sweet, and caring, and they make you feel right at home every time. The food is damn good—whoever’s back there cooking deserves all the love. Service was great. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The prices were beyond reasonable. The beer was so cheap I had two. The tacos were good- not authentic by any means but good and cheap. If I lived around here I would go back regularly .
