Visited on vacation from Scotland. Went a walk down to ladybird boardwalk in 37'c heat, dairy queen saved the day with ice cold drinks and amazing banana split and hot fudge Sunday. Our server was super friendly, thank you for cooling us down in this weather 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

For some reason, DQ tastes better in Texas. Just saying! Mainly ordered small dipped cones in the 'loafer' style.
That's a little chocolate is placed to coat the inside of the cone before the ice cream and the final dip.
Either way, the final bite is always the best.

A shame this DQ partners with a predatory towing company combined with vague signage for the lot.
Beware they’ll come for your car as soon as you get out and charge you $240.

Was planning to stop here for dessert after a drink next door - found our car gone when we came back. The signage was not clear as the sign we parked in front of just said customer parking and did not specify Dairy Queen so it was unclear to us exactly how parking amongst these businesses work and that we couldn’t stop by next door first.

The owner is just as vindictive as the other reviews say, wish we’d checked the reviews before coming here, $250 down the drain.

Came to this particular branch at 10:56pm on a Sunday and they had already locked up. I asked them, “Don’t you guys close at 11pm?” The lady responded to me, “Yeah but we already shut off everything.” That’s horrible! If I get to a store or restaurant and it’s not closing time, I expect to be able to receive whatever goods or services they have, unless they specify publicly that they shut down before closing time. This was very disappointing and a complete waste of my time and gas. I had just returned from Houston and I just wanted to treat myself after a long drive.

The poorest service where the employees treat you like the worst. You must MANDATORY consume so they can give you a bath even if you are PREGNANT. Learn to be people and above all HUMAN.

Service here is extremely lazy, and constantly hands out wrong orders.

I've never left a restaurant a bad review before, but this one is necessary. We ordered in person via the drive through (and inside the third time). First, for some reason they split our order on two tickets, no big deal, the drive through worker read back our order and it was correct. When the food came out, we were missing two blizzards. We let them know, and the assistant manager came out. He said we didn't order them. We assured him we did, and even showed him our receipt.
He said we weren't charged for the two missing blizzards, however, we even showed him our bank account on our phone to show that we were charged. He still said there was nothing he could do. He said that he was only an assistant manager, and that we needed a full stop manager to fix the order. He told us to go home and try calling in the morning.
I didn't want my younger brother and sister to go home without their blizzard, so I went inside to go order them again. When I walked in I could hear him complaining about us from the kitchen for a good couple of minutes. While they were talking I heard the drive through worker lie and say that we asked her to cancel the two blizzards.
I don't want the workers to be in trouble though. I've worked in the service industry for years. In a safe work environment, people rarely lie about minor mistakes. It happens in when the workers are scared for their jobs. Which makes me wonder why she felt a need to lie to the assistant manager.
Lastly, they still got the order again. One of the blizzards was a Chessecake blizzard. I repeated three times that there wasn't supposed to be strawberry in it, but it still came out with strawberry in it.
Working in service has taught me that you don't leave problems unresolved. The assistant manager tried to send us home without trying to help the situation. The extra blizzards are still charged to the bank account.

Deaf Discrimination, They tow non-customers from the parking lot, 10 mins into my meal some "hearing" guy hollered to the customers in the seating area then left. Apparently he was asking whose truck was parked outside and towed it away. I AM DEAF! Apparently it has happened more than once to deaf people here and I paid $230.53 to get my truck out of J&J Towing 8 miles away. I contacted Dairy Queen and NOPE they will not pay me back for THEIR mistake.

Make sure if you eat here and stop next door for a drink, move your car. The owner of this establishment will tow your vehicle even if you are supporting their business. I was gone for 10 minutes getting a drink next door and my car was gone. Do not recommend this location and business. Towing will cost you $240.

The worst service I have ever had in my life, the workers don't even look like "workers"

Great organizing with the drive through food. Perfectly put in each bag and nothing was missing. They added ketchup and napkins. Very pleased and the kids toys are the best! Today we got a woopie cushion. The customer service was excellent also!

Best strawberry shake I've had in a while sad I had to come from Pflugerville. This is the Dairy Queen I remember from my childhood
