This newly opened Indian restaurant exceeded our expectations with its impeccable food quality. The vada pav and dabeli were standout dishes, setting a new standard in the area. Their daily Thali offerings showcase a delightful variety, with the paneer kurcha standing out as particularly superb. As for the chaat items, the ragda pattice was simply exceptional. For vegetarians, this place is paradise, serving up authentic Indian cuisine that's a must-try for anyone craving flavorful, satisfying dishes.

Very authentic food and best taste for Gujarati foods. We used their catering service for couple of events and it was top notch. Our all guests were happy with the food.

Delicious food served here! We were met by warm and friendly staff who helped us select from the generous menu options. This place might be like a meal at my Grandmother's if she were Indian. Indian home cooking at its best. A 5 star review to reflect the excellence we encountered here. Well worth a return visit!

Quite a disappointment, in line with a sad trend of disappointing Indian restaurants in Austin. We were excited to see a new Indian place pop up the neighborhood, we are regulars at the sister-business Dana Bazar Indian Grocery store, and have been thinking of checking this place for a while. We excitedly scanned the menu and decided to order a Veg Thali, there wasn't any wait staff and it seemed like a self-serve model, but we didn't mind as we were excited about the food. Took about 20 mins for the Thali to be ready, which was a tad late considering its was early evening 5:30 pm or so and there was just one more customer on-premises. Finally, Thali arrived and we are excite to sample everything, first bites were not bad, considering we were starving for some time. But very soon the excitement weaned off. Though the selection of food on thali was decent, 2 veg curries, Rajma, and Gujarati style moong dal, the taste was all but missing. Rajma were cooked with minimal seasoning, kind of like Mexican refried beans, Dal was bland, Subzi full of oil. We had opted for Lachha paratha, which wasn't cooked enough, sections in the middle and side were raw. For a moment, we thought about reordering or trying something else, but decided against At that point , I had didn't have the patience to talk to the person at cashier, who again was waltzing between kitchen and cash, they seemed like short staffed. Went for Dal rice with pickles and made it a meal, followed by burgers from P-terry :) Overall, not impressed but hoping they up their game! I give 1 star, since it's in the hood, but highly doubt I'm going to try them again anytime soon.

Another bad Indian restaurant. Where to start. Got the same curry twice and they were completely different. This is their kurchan something. The paratha was uncooked fat aata cakes. Best for indigestion. Curry was made by a Mexican.Next, the wait time. Order took 1.5 hrs to get ready. They said 30 mins. Just imagine that. They need to stop taking new orders if they are so backlogged or tell the truth. So many worthless Indian restaurants. And prices are through the roof. Absolutely through the roof.

Happened to see this place when grabbing some espresso. It’s connected to the Indian store on the other side of the complex. An excellent concept and definitely an underserved market! We got the bhel puri to try. The portion was great but the overall execution and ingredient variety was nothing memorable. We are curious to try the indo Asian fusion items but the price points are a bit high to explore and try things. Will update if we try this again!

My new favorite place to dine in all of Austin! The food here is absolutely amazing. The ingredients are fresh, all of it is made from scratch with a great deal of passion with chefs how absolutely care about the quality of the food and your experience. You must try the Dani Vada (the only one I’ve ever had in the US that is made from scratch). I highly recommend Dana foods!
