If you're looking for a good ol' fashioned burger that's a pleasant dine in experience, this place is definitely worth a try. The burger was great and I really like the old fashioned theme. I'm afraid places like this one day won't exist, but with the quality and price of the meal, I don't think they really have much to worry about. The place is known, so there is a rush at meal times, so be aware. It's worth the time even if you have to wait...
I never eat in here, but I look for excuses to be near one of Dan's drive-throughs before they stop serving breakfast. Those breakfast tacos! My favorite bean-egg-potato is absolutely delicious here. I know it's called Dan's Hamburgers, but to me it will always be Dan's Tacos.
Food is amazing. Seriously, I love a good burger. This is a GREAT one. If you’re a burger lover, you owe it to yourself to eat at Dans. An Austin staple since 1973. Manchac location looks like an old school diner. And the staff are kind and welcoming. Can’t say enough.
