We loved the original daruma and will update when they move back.Had the same experience twice at the new location: the soup tastes microwaved. The chicken hard, the noodles hard. The soup cold. My wife even got an upset stomach. We're definitely not going back until they go back to 6th street ?To clarify, we frequent other restaurants with a similar situation... For example, kai sushi. They are now take out only. But we have not seen a drop in the food quality ?So take the feedback as you will ?

This place was great. Wonderful food and great service ! Shout out to AUSTIN for the great hospitality and even better customer service. He checked on us multiple times and made sure we had a great experience! Very impressed.

Very simple menu which means it’s not overwhelming to pick something to order! The guys here were so great.I finally had a chance to stop in back in January. The last time I was in Texas, it was still too early so they weren’t opened yet. I’m so glad I had a chance to.

Hands down the best ramen I have ever had. Went there based on a recommendation when visiting Austin and was not disappointed in any way. Would absolutely go again.

Horrible food/ horrible customer service/ horrible first experience... your shift manager on the clock from around 4-close on 6/15/20 was anything but understanding or helpful. He hung up on me and was rude from the start and also looked at us ugly. $50 for rude service and horrible food. I will demand a refund and never spend another dime here.

Small little ramen shop that I heard a lot of hype about and decided to check out on a Thursday night. Fair warning they have VERY little seating so be prepared for a wait. All their broth is chicken based (I ordered the miso variation) and while it wasn't bad it certainly didn't leave a lasting impression. Considering the wait and small space, you're better off waiting for Ramen Tatsu-ya! The broth had much less complexity, however thicker and spongier noodles (if you're into that sort of thing, no judgement here) Overall, not bad, but nothing special compared to the flourishing ramen scene in Austin.

Fantastic ramen! Nice to see a place that uses chicken broth, hard to find. Be prepared to get comfy with strangers as it’s small, but atmosphere is ?

My boyfriend and I literally go to Austin just to eat here (we live an hour and a half away). I'm vegan and he is not so we love that they have options for both. The people are always super friendly and the ramen is amazing!

This ramen was delicious!! I came here with two friends on a Saturday night. The restaurant itself is pretty small with only a few table. We put our name on the list and waited around 30 minutes. The staff was very friendly and welcoming the entire time, open to answering all questions we had about the menu. We were fortunate enough to sit facing the kitchen, so we got to watch our ramen being made right in front of our eyes! The service was pretty fast - I received my food probably within 15 minutes of ordering. I got the Shoyu ramen which was absolutely amazing! It was so flavorful and delicious! Overall, I was very happy with this restaurant. And its in a really convenient location - right on 6th street, close to a bunch of other bars to explore afterwards!

Really fun place because of the staff, cool atmosphere, DELICIOUS food. Visiting from DFW, and would love to come back to this place!Little odd with the seating arrangement, but helps create the fun atmosphere if you're open to meeting and chatting with new people. ☺

Great ramen! #3 was spot on.. good broth and good ingredients. It’s all chicken based so beware of that if you are looking for more traditional.

I was actually surprised to find such a tasty shio ramen here! It's a small venue and even the outside sign is also humble... I came here before, but it was hot weather at the time, so didn't feel like eating hot ramen and had hiyashi chuka (cold noodle). Since my hotel is nearby, I decided to stop by again. Anyhow, I would not mind coming back here next time I'm visiting the city!
