My fiancé and I stopped by for brunch and were so impressed — I’ve never rated a place 10/10 before, but this one absolutely deserves it! The food was incredible — my fiancé had the steak and eggs, and I had the Day Maker Classic. Both were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We also shared a side of pancakes, which were fluffy, delicious, and honestly some of the best I’ve had.
The coffee was amazing too — rich and smooth, not bitter at all. Our server (I believe his name was Ryan or Bryan) was super friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better.
Everything from the food to the service and atmosphere was perfect. We’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Austin. ☕🥞🍳

Solid food. Order a bloody Mary, they're GREAT. We go in groups, so I've tried SO many brunch/lunch items: they're all good. Like, if u visit you HAVE to go. And if u live here, you should already have 2 favourite menu items

Everything I’ve ever dreamed of in terms of brunch with the girls. The food is delicious. The breakfast fried rice is top tier cuisine. Churro pancakes for the table is the move.

Tried out Day Maker Half Day Cafe with our UT Austin student & his girlfriend today. Drea was our server & she went above & beyond to make menu suggestions & check in on us. Ethan, the Manager, was also amazing! He heard we had come for the maple bacon fritters & they were out when we ordered. He came to our table to apologize & said the chef had made a fresh batch and was bringing some for us on the house! The food was incredible!!! You must also try the bread pudding French Toast as it did not disappoint. I cannot recommend this place enough! We will all be back!!

This place is my go to recommendation for brunch. The food was incredible and our waitress, Piper, was so nice and helpful. We had the fork and knife cinnamon roll which was amazing and for our main course, we had the migas and chorizo benny. Honestly a 10/10 meal all around.
