I would like to update my review after a recent event I experienced with this restaurant. I was charged by doordash for an order that was never made or received due to the store being closed and a glitch in the third party system. But once I was able to speak directly with the manager and GM. They very promptly and graciously took care of the situation. Hands down the best gumbo in town! The staff is always friendly, the drinks are priced just right, and the whole place has that perfect neighborhood restaurant vibe. The new pool tables are a great touch—I love coming here.
Ocean Blue Oyster Bar is in the same location as the previous restaurant, “Deckhand.” As I looked at the menu, I noticed many similarities to Deckhand, and I said as much to our server.
