their tamales are out of this world good. My wife and I are taking a bunch back with us back to Virginia because there is no one in our area that makes them. we will be definitely ordering them on line when we run low.

I should have just went to HEB and bought tamales, but since I wanted true authentic MEXICAN tamales, I decided to give them a try. I got there at 1:30pm so I decided to try their lunch special, half dozen tamales and a drink. He had to warm them up, I was just giving him a chance. The tamales are horrible, way worse than HEB brand. I can not believe this place is even still around. Please do NOT support this business as they are not concerned about the product they sell to customers. I will never support this business and you should not either! Poor, quality food. Although I thought the store owner was nice. The quality is low, and now I'm on the toilet!!!!

The tamales are very good taste wise however the value is very low. As many others have stated, they are extraordinarily small. Length wise they are about the same size as a typical tamale but I would say width wise they are maybe 1/3-1/2 the size of a regular tamale and so paying 20 dollars for a dozen seems like a waste. Having said that, this is the only place where you can reliably get tamales when you want that is nearby so I continue to order. Once I find another dedicated tamale shop or at least a restaurant that regularly makes an assortment of flavors, I will definitely consider switching if they offer more value for the price and the taste is good.

This was probably one of the worst tamales I ever had. I ordered the jalapeno chicken, jalapeno pork, & chicken for Christmas. All of them lacked flavor and were mushy. Also, they were tiny! The customer was great but I won’t be back.

A friend of mine brought these to a craft retreat and they were AWESOME! I love the smaller size tamales. They’re so easy to reheat and eat at home. We had the jalapeño cream cheese, pork, chicken and bean. The bean tamales were so flavorful and not dry! Usually bean tamales are a miss but these were so good. Ignore the reviews especially if you’re from south Texas. This place tastes like home.

I am not sure what happened with other peoples orders but our tamales were awesome 👏 and no they are not all the same size but that is how you know they are handmade the service i was gone was awesome wish i had paid attention to his name we got bean and chz yes that is what i love anyway we also got pork tamales which i was told were yummy so give them a try like i did ignoring the bad reviews maybe yall with the complaints should goto the store and get some frozen tamales 🤢 😂

I was so DISAPPOINTED with these Tamales. I got half a dozen just to try. Boy were they SMALL!! I was asked if I wanted salsa I said yes, I got one of each red and green. I was not informed I was going to be charged for them. Also they were not good at least not to me, I'm still trying to get over the size of them.
