For the price, we were severely disappointed. The items on the menu we saw in previous reviews are not available. After asking, the waitress told us that they had made a lot of changes to the menu. We ordered the vegetarian hotpot. There was no choice in broth, instead we were given PLAIN water to which they added a few mushrooms into immediately before serving us. There were wonton wrappers, 5 very slim tofu skins, shirataki noodles, two small pieces of soft tofu, a few cabbage strips, and a small handful of mushrooms. That is all. We left quite hungry. There were only two sauces to choose from. You cannot get more of any of these items and it felt like we were eating boiled vegetables, essentially.
Every single thing in the menu is too sour. It feels like i had a full glass of vinegar while im here.

This elevated hotpot experience leaves a long-lasting impression, and is best enjoyed in the company of close friends and loved ones. The staff are warm and inviting, attentive, and knowledgeable.
Highlights of the menu: duck two ways, pork belly, shrimp, bone marrow, shiso chimichurri, truffle sukiyaki, and the panna cotta (perfect level of sweet and tart).
I recommend:
Ordering duck two ways with a side of steamed buns and making a lil bao bun goodness - any sauce would be great, but I loved it with the ponzu and chimichurri;
Pork bone broth with miso bomb;
Extra order of veg, and extra order of noodles; and
Ask for a spoon - at some point, your meal will be better for it.
If your eyes are bigger than your stomach, or if you're left with broth at the end of your meal, leftovers are perfect for rice congee the next day.
Dietary restrictions: The staff was very attentive to my friends dietary restrictions, and did a great job of making sure she knew what she could enjoy and what she should avoid.

We had a wonderful experience at dipdipdip this weekend. The staff was incredibly nice, thoroughly explained the menu, and gave recommendations. We ordered the Ozen with ichiban dashi, truffle sukiyaki, shrimp meatballs- highly recommend, strip loin, and sengiri vegetables, Sukiyaki Nabe with A5, and duck two ways. The lotus chips w/ trout row was a great starter, light and savory, but my absolute favorite were the pork sui gyoza- insanely rich and flavorful! We will be visiting again very soon.

Dipdipdip is absolutely delicious! This was our 2nd time coming here, and we had a wonderful experience!
We started off our night with some drinks. My wife got the Summer Bee, which was a beautiful cocktail with smokey notes (courtesy of the mezcal). I got the Daifugo and Black velvet, which were perfect starters before the meal. Zak (the cocktail curator) is a top-tier bartender, and makes some of the best drinks that Austin has to offer.
My wife got the D3 off the shabu shabu menu, which included a nice assortment of meats and dipping sauces in a flavorful broth. At the end, they give ramen style noodles, which were the perfect end to her dinner!
I had the Udon noodles that were on special. The noodles were phenomenal! They were bouncy and had a great mouth feel, and the broth paired with them made for some of the best noodles you can get in Austin!
The wait staff was attentive, consistently filling up water and making sure we were all good. Each dish was thoroughly explained to us, which really made it a cool experience. My wife and I look forward to coming back!

Overall, the meal was excellent. The food was delicious. Although at first we were disappointed when we learned the menu had changed and the omakase needed to be ordered in advance. But the a la carte options were great and not so different really.
The service was not as good as it had been on previous visits. The additional scallops I ordered were slow to arrive and were first delivered to our neighbors. When our order came we had almost finished our entrees. We had also ordered some sake for with our entreees that after 20 minutes I needed to remind the waiter about. We eventually got our drinks. All in all, a delicious meal that was as organized as it had been on previous visits. Nonetheless I will be back,

One of the best experiences in Austin. Really well curated flavors for hot pot - truly unique. The space is stunning, service is very attentive. Great for date night or a small group.
Highly recommend the new sukiyaki nabe! So much flavor - sweet, ultra savory with truffle, mushrooms and high quality beef.

This spot was amazing. We chose the omakase option and can safely say it was well worth the money. The dishes were carefully constructed and were extraordinarily flavorful. The service was incredible. Shannon, our server, was absolute perfection. I cannot promote this venue more! Must try.

!!!MUST TRY!!!
This is easily one of the most exciting places to eat in Austin. The food is unlike anything else in the city, and it is of course phenomenal. If you like hot pot, this is going to become one of your favorite restaurants.
The SErvice is almost magical with how quickly the meal will seemingly transform on the table in front of you. our server, Shannon was downright LEGENDARY. Every single meal is a work of art. Bring friends and show up for a great experience. This is a must-try in the city.
My recommended order:
Shared oysters
One of their signature cocktails
D3 combo - Beef meatballs - add-order the A5 wagyu
The mycology box
A perfect meal any day of the week.

Dipdipdip Tatsuya know what they are doing. The food is phenomenal, the service is *chefs kiss* and the atmosphere leaves nothing left to be desired. You will feel so well taken care of, happy and full. Our server Shannon absolutely blew my mind with how on top of it she was manging a 21 top. Knocked it out of the park. 20/10 would reccomend. Don't walk, run to dipdipdip!
