First thing i want to mention is how the place sets a very nice and almost nostalgic atmosphere of old school American diners, I think thats due to the fact that this place has been open since 1926 and they have multiple pictures and decor of the past displayed on the walls. Dirty Martin’s is a not just a campus haunt, it’s an Austin institution. It came up in conversation on a list of things that fit that description, but I haven’t been to. Visited today with a close friend who grew up in this city and enjoyed our appetizers (fried jalapeño slices, chips/queso, and corn nuggets). Single bacon cheeseburger, tots, and a big red shake - YUM!!! Also shared fried pickles and the chicken quesadilla. Everything was delicious, the staff was great, the food was served quickly. If you're ever in the area, it's definitely worth stopping in for a bite.
