Oldest sushi bar in Austin! Love this spot! Total hole-in-the-wall find. The sushi 🍣 is nicely and authentically cut. Little bite-sized portions—just as sushi is supposed to be! Like the perfect bite.

They even have a couple of proper Japanese-style dining tables. They also have booths. It’s intimate and just so nice. And it feels comfortable and casual.

Really great atmosphere, particularly while eating. Great spot for a date night or for family and friend gatherings.

Located in a little car parking lot that doesn’t look like much. The outside, however, is hiding a right little gem. Food is good, service is good.

I honestly can’t believe I found this place—proper secret spot.

One of the first times I have eaten freshly made sushi, was definitely enjoyable. I really enjoyed the Texas Roll and the Mexican Roll.

Their sushi was delicious! And their service was wonderful. Your order your food with a QR code and pay - quick and easy process. I absolutely loved sitting in the Tatami room - it was an AMAZING experience.

I really enjoyed the food and the service was great. I liked the variety of food. I would definitely come again. Only critique is the Rock Bibimbap bowl could have been hotter.

You're required to give a paper menu. My phone was dead, so I left without ordering anything after being refused a paper menu. Won't even get to try your food. Give a paper menu option!

DK Sushi is an absolute gem. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by its eclectic energy—an atmosphere that manages to feel both surreal and inviting. The vibe is unlike anywhere else, elevated by perfectly curated 80’s beats that set the tone for an unforgettable evening.

I ordered a glass of wine, the rainbow roll, and miso soup, and every bite (and sip) was spot on. The sushi was fresh and vibrant, layered with care and flavor; the miso was soothing and perfectly balanced. Service was seamless—ordering through the app felt modern and efficient, and before I knew it, food and drinks appeared as if by magic.

What I especially love is that DK Sushi delivers more than just a meal—it’s an experience. I left already planning my next visit, and next time I’ll be fully embracing the Japanese style by dining on the floor.

A must-visit for anyone craving delicious sushi with personality, energy, and an atmosphere you won’t find anywhere else.

Sushi was really mid compared to other locations within 30m. Gyoza was pretty good. Tea was scalding and extremely over priced as it was just a tea bag. I probably paid for an entire box.
Aesthetics we're really nice but the vibe was killed by the true crime on the TV and pop band music.
Service was quick, friendly, and helpful.
