They are closed! And I traveled from Dallas for it! ?
This place is the bomb!!! If you're eating dinner downtown, come here for dessert. Loved the chimney cakes, loved the friendly owner and can't wait to come back!
Fantastic treat, fantastic price, fantastic service!
The taste of the cake is the most delicious, tasty, soft, the best!
great service, and just a fun New experience.
It was a beautiful day and I decided to try out Dracula's chimney cakes at 403 Eats and I am so glad I did. I ordered a jalapeno cheddar savory chimney cake to eat for lunch and a sweet Belgium chocolate for dessert and OMG! I have never had a chimney cake before and didn't really know what to expect, but now that I know how unbelievably delicious these are i may have to stop by every week. The taste is amazing and i want them to continue serving this creation of culinary greatness forever, for there is nothing else like it to my knowledge. One bite and i know I will be back again and again and again! If you have been curious about Chimney cakes like I was, give it a try and after all your taste buds thank you, you can thank me later!! Enjoy!
first of all I never had chimneys cakes before so I tried today its really good and phenomenal!!!
SO delicious!! You’re in for a treat ✨
Dracula's Son Chimney Cakes brings a part of Transylvania to Austin. The "Kürtoskalács" or Chimney Cake is a delicious dessert that is made wrapping dough on a wooden cone, that is basted in butter, and covered in sugar which is cooked on high heat. The result is a hollow pastry that is crunchy on the outside, and soft on the inside. The traditional ones are then covered in sugar or walnut, but at Dracula's Son you can get them with Nutella, Apple butter, or even filled with icecream. A must try dessert in downtown Austin!
These taste just like the chimney cakes you get in Europe. Very yummy, and very friendly service.

Just walked away with a Nutella and coconut chimney cake. If you’ve never had a chimney cake, you’re missing out. Crispy on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. It’s a Romanian treat and it’s served by a Romanian. Doesn’t get more authentic than that!
Yummy, fresh, absolutely delicious cakes!!!!!

Will definitely stop by again when I visit Austin next time, great taste and service.
