Very Good

I was craving some good dumplings and made the trip out to this place for a pickup order. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. While the portions are generous, the dumplings themselves are underwhelming and lacking in flavor.

I don’t eat pork, so I tried their beef and shrimp options instead. In fact, I ordered two types of beef dumplings and two types of shrimp dumplings. To my surprise, both beef dishes were identical, and both shrimp dishes were identical as well. The only difference between them seemed to be the dipping sauces. I didn’t care for the sauces, so I tried the dumplings plain, but both types were fairly bland.

Overall, not worth the trek.

My daughter’s absolute favorite place in the whole wide world! Their dumblings are absolutely amazing. The tea is to die for ! And the place is clean and friendly.

We have been here many times and will continue coming.

This is a hidden gem. They are the best wontons and Xiu Long Bao I have ever tried in US. The soup in Xiu Long Bao and Wonton soup so authentic, bold and rich. I will definitely come back.

I have lived in Austin for 6 years and it’s rare to find Asian food this good, and this place honestly exceeded my expectations. I tried the beef noodle soup, garlic green beans, and the spicy beef and sour dumplings- everything was so flavorful and delicious. The only minor downside is the small parking lot, but the food easily makes up for it!

I stopped in for a solo lunch on a random Tuesday. Around 2:30, the place was empty, but not for long. Within 20 minutes, it almost filled up again.

The team member who took my order was super kind and made some suggestions, and I'm glad I went with it.

I got their Spicy Braised Beef Noodle Soup and pan-fried Beef and Onion dumplings. The dumplings were super juicy, and the filling-to-wrapper ratio was on point.

But the real hero was the noodle soup. I've actually had all the noodle soups in that area, including the Chinatown Plaza. And I'd say this one is exceptionally generous for the price. The flavour was delicious. I'm a big chilli oil person, and this soup did not need anything. It was not as spicy as it was flavourful. And I didn't need to add anything else to it, which speaks volumes in my book.

Juicy pan-fried buns and passion fruit cucumbers are so refreshing. The beef stew noodle soup is flavorful, and the noodles are cooked perfectly. Definitely recommend!

Such a great place! Really good food, great service! We usually get a number of dishes and share for the table. The food comes out as it's ready, piping hot and flavorful. The soup dumplings are wonderful, the pot stickers crispy and soft at the same time. The steamed dumplings are wonderful, too. The burrito was surprisingly (at least to me - and Asian burrito?!?) good with wonderful flavors. Some friends were visiting from San Francisco and said that Dumpling World was solid even by SF standards. There can be a wait later in the evening, but rarely early.
