I have been loyal to another Chinese buffet palace for over 10 years and have never budged on them... until now.
Out of pure coincidence, I saw this place while venturing through south austin and decided to give it a try - and I was not disappointed.
East Buffet covers every single area of Chinese cuisine from the moist and succulent chicken to beef - The biggest highlight being their chicken on a stick. Perfectly cooked and delicious.
For anyone in this area and contemplating going to a Chinese buffet - Allow me to tell you, as someone equally as skeptical and stubborn, you will not be disappointed.
The workers smile at you and attend to you as you see fit and the atmosphere is very soothing, allowing you to eat in comfort.

This place had some pretty good food, especially their house special chicken. The hibachi grill was solid. Our waiter was on his game, kept our drinks full and plates cleared, and was very welcoming.

This is hands-down the best asian Buffet I have ever been to! The Mongolian bar is absolutely to die for the amount of different types of meat, steak pork, chicken, shrimp, egg all the different vegetables and the fact that they cook it right in front of you the sushi bar has SO many amazing rolls, and not just California rolls with no actual raw fish. These rolls are real quality rolls.Not to mention the buffet itself has so many amazing options. It’s just absolutely phenomenal and the price you cannot beat. The food quality is absolutely amazing. I love this place so much! Best ever!

It is a Chinese buffet. The hot food is hot, the cold food is cold, and the Mongolian grill is Puerto Rican. I've got no complaints, it's a solid B+ dining experience, which is exactly what I'm after with a Chinese Buffet.

Excellent buffet! So much variety and the food was fresh even at 1.5 hours from closing which is when we came in. Highly recommend.
