They’ve re-opened under really good new management and a great overhaul to the food menu. I was a regular before the makeover, and what stands out now is the attentive service, good breakfast tacos that don’t break the bank, and a friendlier overall layout and feel to the place. Shoutout to the new owners, glad to see the changes!

Apparently they don’t serve brunch here despite the menus online showing otherwise. Still a solid place for a bite to eat.

2nd floor is one of the best views in Austin as long as it isn’t booked for an event. Would call ahead to check next time.

Server & host were helpful, inviting, & attentive. Enjoyed the new space despite both the reasons why I came weren’t available (breakfast/brunch & a view).

A comprehensive online menu for this place & the Linc location would be very helpful in the future.

to management,
i feel as though its very evident that yall did not thoroughly train your crew for service. coffee was bad, pastries were okay, and unfortunately our server looked very overwhelmed and stressed out.

hostess (in the stripped button up) looked like she didnt want to be there nor did it look like she knew how to hand a plate out. also not sure why a hostess was handing food out. in addition, dont hand us a kids menu if the food on there isn’t even available at the given hour, very rude.

our waiter will get some grace. however, those who helped him with food, instead of just setting food down on top of a menu and dangerously close to knocking down water, how about we announce the plate and hand it to the right person.

overall, disappointing experience. thank you to our server though for taking off the matcha from our tab because it took almost 45 minutes to come out. honestly wished we didnt have to pay for any of the coffee we ordered because it was bland and grainy. whoever the boss is, respectfully, train your people better.

Ordered some bread on their website. Got there and they didn’t have it. Staff didn’t tell us order wasn’t there. Manager shows up blames morning staff for counting wrong blames door dash for not having a tablet to call or text us but we ordered on their website hours ago. Same old easy tiger unreliable sorry we tried again. Too bad since venue is so cool.

I’ve been so excited for the S Lamar Easy Tiger to reopen! I went this morning with my daughter and she ate a buttery delicious croissant and played in kids area while I sipped my cappuccino and worked under the big trees.
When we were leaving, my car battery was dead. I asked the staff if they had cables to jump my car and Connor, the bartender onsite, came out and jumped our car. What an above and beyond local community place. Thank you for the pastry, coffee, serene atmosphere and act of kindness! Can’t wait to be back for my daughter’s bday party. Thx!

The pastrami kolachi is the absolute best!! Conner and Lilia gave us the BEST recommendations and friendly, welcoming service! I felt so at home. The view is also evocative of the rolling Texas spell that is Austin!

I love this place! Easy Tiger has been one of my go-to spots for a while now, and it never disappoints. The food is always delicious, the coffee and cocktails are good, the ambience is warm and welcoming, and the service is consistently great. It’s one of those places where you can just hang out and enjoy yourself. Also, I absolutely love their bread!!

Such an amazing place and atmosphere, with very attentive waiters who really allowed for us to work in a nice environment. Wi-Fi was great! And no one was pushy on us ordering which made us want to order more. Glad that we did, because the food was amazing and the service was even bette! Definitely going to return with friends just to hang out and play some cornhole/ bring my dog to their outdoor space, and if I need a nice place to work from that isn’t my house in the future.

Used to be one of my favorite spots, now I can’t even stomach going back.

The last couple times I’ve been to Easy Tiger have been deeply disappointing. The food? Served cold both visits. Not “a little cool”—I mean genuinely unappetizing, as if it had been sitting out waiting to die. And while the coffee is still stellar (shout out to the lovely baristas holding this place together with grace), it’s not enough to justify the overall experience anymore.

What really sealed it for me was the manager—an older bald guy in a button-up shirt—standing near the bar trash-talking his own staff loud enough for customers to hear. Twice. Nothing makes food taste worse than watching someone in a leadership position belittle the people who actually make the place run. It’s pathetic and gross. I don’t know what happened to the atmosphere here, but it’s taken a nosedive straight into disrespect and disorganization.

I used to recommend Easy Tiger to everyone I know, but now? Not a chance. Until there’s a serious change in management (or at least some basic human decency), I won’t be back.

Have been to different Easy Tiger locations over the years and I’m a fan. However, on the most recent trip food was really meh. Soggy fish n chips. $7 chicken with the salad was a reheated pre-cooked freezer piece. No pretzels, which is a big part of the theme. Hope this was a one-off but given the vibe and price point you gotta do better than food that seems it was microwaved.
