Amazing food and server. The Server Adam made it super special for my Boyfriends Bday. He suggested the best appetizers and fine wine. The steak was so flavorful and delicious. We will be back and we will recommend Adam!
The table set up was strange for eight people two curved booth seats seating three each and then two chairs placed in between. Not ideal so request a normal table. Otherwise food was really good and service was great.
My Leadership team loved everything about your venue. It was one of the Executives birthday and they said the staff was amazing and made her birthday away from home very special. Thank you for the white glove service
We have been coming to Eddie V's for 14 years now! We can't seem to veer away. We always have the most amazing food and drinks and live music toos the experience as perfect! Our server last night was absolutely fantastic, attentive and delivered her A game!
Everything was great except for the valet. Gave me attitude about writing me a receipt for the valet costs.
We had a lovely time celebrating a birthday with a Happy Hour before the show at Esther's Follies. Just perfect. The tenderloin sliders are the BEST!
Excellent service from Alex, and much appreciate that they do not charge a split fee. Keeps is coming back!
Eddie V‘s hands-down has some of the best food and service of any restaurants in Austin. Matt was super attentive and made our evening smooth.
We frequent Eddie Vs downtown quite regularly. We like sitting at the bar as we like to sit side by side and always a great experience with the bar staff. Food is always delicious and service is top notch. Bar staff Elliott, Emma, Gary and Ryan are fantastic not just at being supper attentive and helpful but they are all around great people.
This was the worst experience I've had at an Eddie V's and arguably the worst experience I've had at a fine dining restaurant ever. The staff was completely unorganized and rude. When I arrived, the restaurant was empty. They got way too upset when I sat at a booth in the bar, as they wanted to sit me at another table. Their focus on seating process made it an awkward vibe from the start. I got so annoyed that I decided to just sit at the bar. While at the bar, the bartenders were more concerned with BS'ing with regulars (who ordered happy hour drinks and bites) than serving us in a reasonable amount of time. I used to think this was a quality spot to go, I will never return.

Went to Eddie V’s Downtown Austin with a group and had a great experience. The service was fantastic — attentive, friendly, and kept everything running smoothly for a larger table.
The food was really good. I had the sea bass, which is one of my favorites anywhere, and it did not disappoint. We finished with the crème brûlée with berries, which was light, not too sweet, and the perfect way to end the meal.
Great spot downtown for groups, good food, and excellent service.

I love Eddie V's! But on more than one occasion I've had a quality control issue with my meal. The first time was when I ordered the lobster tacos at a location in Dallas. The menu does not state there are avocado in this dish. I'm allergic. Took one bite and immediately spit it out. Of course they immediately replaced the dish and was very apologetic. I warned that the menu should be updated to reflect all the ingredients because had i seen avocado, i would have asked to prepare the item without it or order something else. The last time i visited that location, the menus were still not updated.
The second incident was at this Austin location. I asked the server if there are mushrooms in the fried rice and he said yes (this is not stated in the menu but I've learned to ask upfront). He offered to have the rice made without mushrooms. The dish arrives, i take one bite and immediately spit it out. There were tons of mushrooms in it! The server was very sorry and had it remade. But these are potentially life and death mistakes. Food allergies or even just a dislike of certain items should be handled with vigilant attention.

First off, best service ever! Chardae was exceptional. I felt like she was a long lost friend. She was so fun, personable and attentive. We came for happy hour and stayed for dessert and after dinner espresso martinis. Highly recommend the happy hour mini filet sandwiches, south African lobster and tuna on rice.

The food at this place was amazing in every sense. Solid oyster selection. However, the attention to detail and costumer service is what makes Eddie's an absolute star for special occasions. We came here to celebrate my wife's birthday, and it definitely was the right choice. They left a personalized birthday card at the table along with some flower petals, the card was signed by every crew member and everyone from the hostess to the server personally congratulated her several times. The courtesy birthday dessert has its own little show and we liked it so much we got another one. Our server Adam was very knowledgeable with everything related to the menu and pairings, but his top quality was his outstanding costumer service. Last but not least, there was live jazz at the lounge so we moved over there after our dinner to have a drink and enjoy the music. No worries, the Jazz wasn't crazy loud so you can still have a conversation comfortably. 5 stars.

I had never dined here before my mother daughter and I went for an alternative seafood Thanksgiving meal and everything was just absolutely fantastic. Our waiter Kyle was perfect.
