Usually I like to sit at a coffee shop and get some work done on my lap top. But that's difficult to do here when the "manager" is talking unnecessarily loud to the other employee about her entire life story. Including complaining about her job, the shop owner, and then even talking about her own health issues. Either she doesn't know how loud she is, or just doesn't care. But Some things should just be kept private.

We wanted a stop to stretch our legs and have a snack. Our age group is 65-14 and all walked away satisfied. Interesting coffee drink selections, tea options and drip coffee selections along with basic baked goods. Also noted tacos on the menu. The muffins were very delicious, moist and soft. The atmosphere is beautiful. It’s a spacious place with beautiful interior furnishings. Also saw a drive through lane. I’m visiting Texas, however family that live here will definitely return. Highly recommend!!!!

I love spending the morning working at Rootline. The employees are always friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant. There's plenty of table and sofa seating. They locally source breakfast tacos from restaurants, which is a great treat. Definitely would recommend this place when in Dripping Springs.

Review Amended: We returned to Rootline on 12/19 and customer service was much better. Lattes were made as requested and it was an all around great experience. Thank you for responding to our review and turning around the experience. Rootline will be one of our regular stops.My husband and I really enjoy the atmosphere at Rootline. Very inviting. However, unfortunately the quality of staff varies. First unfavorable encounter was with the staff on 11/20 at 10AM. New crew. Lattes were not made correctly (no foam, watered down) and spilling out of the cup. When we asked the staff to correct part of our order, they seemed ‘put out’ by the request. I hope this image will be correct promptly.

Great coffee! Nice atmosphere inside with great natural light. Had a flatwhite and was done nicely. Will come back and recommend for.thise seeking good coffee and espresso.

4.5 ⭐️Pros:Gorgeous interior, high quality coffee, (lavedar latte = delish) pup cups, very friendly staff.Cons:Chai Tea needs MUCH more work...VERY bland and disappointing :(Need dog water bowls outside.

Visiting from Portland and very picky about my coffee. Rootline checked all the boxes for me! Great atmosphere, great coffee, friendly baristas. I wish they had pastries in, but maybe next time I'm in town!
