We had such good service here and the food was good at a reasonable price! I would recommend walking here if you paid parking at the Bullock Texas History Museum. This was a great recommendation from an employee at the museum and we were so glad we took his advice. It is a family friendly restaurant and we had no complaints.

We chose El Mercado for our son's wedding rehearsal dinner. What a great choice, especially in the time of covid! The restaurant was immaculate, the food was truly some of the Best Authentic Mexican food I've eaten in Austin. Cory, our server was the reason we had such a good time. Great service, great food, and atmosphere combine to makes a memorable evening! And...the price was just right. Thanks for helping make this 'special life event' a happy "new"...
