Giving a 4 star review mostly because we weren't impressed by our main entrees, huevos rancheros and enmoladas. The queso fundido with chorizo and corn tortillas did not disappoint though. Atmosphere is enjoyable and service was good.
What a lovely dinner on a Friday night. The vibrant flavors in the ceviche was sensational. The mole had a subtle complexity where we enjoyed every bit. A la diabla dish (not pictured) was the right spice level to where you could appreciate the flavor of each pepper 🌶️. This is a lot of words to simply say - 5 stars.
We come here a few times per year went visiting Austin. This time we were disappointed at the taste of the food. I had the special which was a wedding dish with rice and stewed meat. The rice was overcooked and the meat was average taste. Definitely not worth the price. Our daughter had a vegetable entree that was overly spiced, triple hot.
