I've heard of it but had it for the first time yesterday. I bought the half chicken. The chicken was delicious. The rice & refried beans was better than expected. The Pepsi was fresher than other restaurants I've tried.
Excellent 1/2 chicken with excellent onion, usual sides. I missed living in the neighborhood near the #2 North Lamar location. I stopped by at a slow time of day, polite staff and great food. Took to go, but the place was clean and ready for business later on in the day. Grabbed a couple neighborhood newspapers as I left.
Recently stopped by El Pollo Rico for a quick bite, and it was absolutely delicious! The aroma of grilled chicken wafted through the air as soon as I walked in, and I knew I was in for a treat. The menu was simple yet enticing, with a focus on their signature rotisserie chicken.
