One of the Worst places to eat anytime after 8:30pm on Saturday cuz Staff is in a Hurry to put you out . One door locks early then your told Drive Thru only . If you order for dinning they put in a bag so you won't sit down . Don't recommend this Place at All !!!

We went through the drive through but when I tell you this food was AMAZING and TOP TIER for drive thru…wow. The carne asada was so juicy and soft, the piña agua Fresca was amazing, the green sauce and guac were also AWESOME. Totally recommend this place!

Each time I visit this restaurant, the team who takes the order is very well informed of the menu items, excellent service and the food is delicious and never off the high scale of great. However, I ordered beef and got chicken instead. When I got home it was disappointing. I even spoke Spanish to the clerk at the register. And the bowels do not include one single tortilla. Other than that, please don't pass by a little place like EL POLLO RICO! SERVINGS ARE GREAT, A GOOD AMOUNT AND NOT TOO PRICEY! DEFINITELY A GOOD ADDITION TO AUSTIN CUISINE!

Now I love this chicken so I have a slight bias on my experience. They messed up the order but I didn’t get charged for the mess up and honestly the chicken was so good it made up for what I didn’t receive <3 honestly still a 5 star place in my books
