My boyfriend makes a big deal that the ONLY El Pollo Rico we can visit is this one, and it's obvious why. The food is phenomenal, and every guest I've ever taken here has fallen in love with it. My favorite place to eat in Austin, Texas!
Excellent 1/2 chicken with excellent onion, usual sides. I missed living in the neighborhood near the #2 North Lamar location. I stopped by at a slow time of day, polite staff and great food. Took to go, but the place was clean and ready for business later on in the day. Grabbed a couple neighborhood newspapers as I left.
I order from here quite frequently and never disappoint
Parking: Parking can be hit or miss, at night the parking lot is packed but before rush hour it is pretty much open lot
