I ordered a quesadilla with Big Fajita and I guess you counted the pieces of meat that That you put in there because I only had five pieces of meat and lots of cheese that is not worth the price I paid I also ordered a baked potato, and that potato had a lot of beef fajita on it. That’s a damn shame will not be going there anymore.

This location hast two wrap around drive thrus. Always the best chicken in the city, good portions, great flavor.
First time visiting an El Pollo Rico. The chicken was so moist and flavorful. The side dishes of rice and beans were tasty but the portion size was small for the full chicken meal order. Was really a 1 person serving or maybe 1.5 person serving depending on appetite. The added tortillas were good. The Jamica beverage was delicious. I was astonished at the size of the large (Im not from Texas, and thought it enough for 2 or 3 people). But it was hot and so tasty that I ended up drinking all of it! This is mostly a drive up, order and pick up place. There is some seating inside , but the interior isn't anything special.
Athentic, affordable, delicious. Pollo Rico is the definitive street Mexican experience. Staff is wonderful, service is near immediate.

Sunday around 6pm craving for some good food and we pick some from 3 different places to try out different flavors. My wife chose pollo Rico and the reason was because she loves Gorditas. Long story short we ordered half of chicken and one Beef Gordita, all of that for about $26.00 the cashier was friendly and attentive to my order. The chicken was amazing with lots of flavor, the rice and beans cooked to perfection. The only issue here is their Gorditas are not home made but you can tell that they are frozen and refried at the time of the order, the meet and all Of the ingredients were ok but not that good maybe because of the sensation of the bad Gordita tortilla. Again best place for chicken but not gorditas. Please excuse my bad typos.
