Excellent 1/2 chicken with excellent onion, usual sides. I missed living in the neighborhood near the #2 North Lamar location. I stopped by at a slow time of day, polite staff and great food. Took to go, but the place was clean and ready for business later on in the day. Grabbed a couple neighborhood newspapers as I left.
This is such a convenient option to get food. Much healthier and very tasty. Packages are very complete: chicken, beans, rice, tortillas, salsa. And you're in and out in a jiff.
El Pollo Rico provided a satisfying lunch experience, with their green salsa and plantains being particular highlights. While the service was decent, it didn't stand out as exceptional.
