Excellent 1/2 chicken with excellent onion, usual sides. I missed living in the neighborhood near the #2 North Lamar location. I stopped by at a slow time of day, polite staff and great food. Took to go, but the place was clean and ready for business later on in the day. Grabbed a couple neighborhood newspapers as I left.

El Pollo Rico offers a gas station food truck dining experience that unfortunately doesn't live up to expectations.Having visited twice, the main dish, chicken, consistently arrived extremely dry and lacked flavor. The sides served alongside were unremarkable, failing to add any excitement or unique flair to the meal.This spot might be convenient for a quick stop, but it doesn't offer anything particularly noteworthy in terms of culinary delight.
