El Raval has the most AMAZING food! With every bite I kept saying OMG! And I just wanted more! HIGHLY recommend !!!
El Raval Tapas Bar is a must-visit! The tapas and paella are bursting with authentic flavors, the cocktails are expertly crafted, and the ambiance is vibrant yet cozy. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. Whether you’re out for a casual night or a special occasion, this place delivers on all fronts. Highly recommend!
I was pleasantly surprised by el Raval and their delicious tapas! I have been disappointed with other tapas restaurants in Austin since experiencing the real thing during a summer in Spain. El Raval stepped up!! We will absolutely be back.

One of my favorite restaurants in town! Wonderful service, innovative cocktails, great ambiance, and the fooooood! Wow! The short ribs, the Brussels sprouts, pork belly, even the grilled bread with French Butter...unbelievable.It is a great date night spot. When they pass around the Porron, everyone in the restaurant feels a sense of connection and celebration! Don't sleep on this place. So much fun!

Honestly pretty mid. Food all tasted / had the texture of being reheated (patatas bravas were mushy and room temp, calamari was soggy and cold, croquetas were meh). Like if Applebee’s did Spanish food. Waitress acted like she couldn’t wait for us to leave. Spanish G&T was nice. Wasn’t the worst meal I’ve ever had, but won’t be rushing to go back.

El Raval is such a special place- from the first time we visited we've been treated like family. Chef Laila, her wife Laura, Manager Derrick and the entire team have created such a warm, welcoming place with great energy. The service and food are consistently TOP NOTCH and this is a great date night spot. I recommend it to all my friends and family, and even hosted my birthday diner there, as well as my Her Texas Fork + Femme dinner event there. There are Flamenco dancers and other entertainment during the week and a brunch on the weekend. Our go-to favorites are the Paella De Marisco, Arroz Negro, Mejillones En Suquet Catalan and Setas al Carbon (the best hummus, mushroom and egg dish you'll ever have). One of the best restaurants in Texas, and some of the best dishes I've had in my life, including Michelin starred restaurants in France and Spain. 10 out of 10, HIGHLY recommend!!

I was only able to try the delicious olives, Pan a La Brasa, and Paella De Pato and cannot wait to go back for more! Service, ambiance, wine, and food were stellar.

I did the "Feed Me" experience and it was absolutely stellar! Every dish was uniquely good and very generously portioned. Some standout favorites: the patatas bravas with calamari, the ceviche, and the meatball- all SO good!!! Highly recommend this place for a family-style meal!!
Great food, solid service - very competent if maybe a little brusque. Went for a collab menu so the actual food items may vary but everything we had was delicious and was some of the best executed croquetas and Calamares that I've ever had. Cocktails were fantastic as well

We went on a Saturday night and our service was mixed. One waiter was nice but our main waiter was never there. We got up a lot of times to try to find our waiter and eventually got tired of being ignored. Especially since the table seated next to us (and sat before us) was getting much better attention and check ins.
The paella was delicious but it’s not a lot for two people. I was surprised how little rice there was in it.
I would go back but only on the weekday.

Loved this place for our large group celebrating my son and new daughter in law. Each dish was prepared with great care and creativity with fresh and some locally sourced ingredients. The staff went over and above to provide everything we requested. Savannah treated the mother of the groom and the mother of the bride like royalty. We look forward to our next visit.
