Extremely attentive and accommodating staff as well as delicious food. Would recommend it as a must try to anyone who loves sharing great food.
We went with family on Saturday after Thanksgiving and had a great evening. We've been many times in the past and we were excited about introducing family members to the restaurant. We had another terrific evening! The food is always consistently great. Our daughter in law is Spanish and introduced us to some menu items that we hadn't previously tried, and which were wonderful. This is our favorite neighborhood restaurant and one of the excellent restaurants in Austin.
The menu was misleading. We ordered several vegetarian dishes, including what was listed as roasted Brussels sprouts. Only at the end did the waiter mention that the sprouts were actually fried—and cooked in the same oil and utensils used for meat items. This was very disappointing and felt deceptive, both in presenting a dish as vegetarian and in calling it roasted when it wasn't. Unfortunately, this experience has put us off, and we don't plan to return to this restaurant. Apart from the the waiter, service and everything was very nice. no complaints
Every time we go to El Raval, the food is excellent, the service is exceptional, and the ambiance is just right. 10/10 recommend!
The food was delicious and I really appreciated all the gluten free and dairy free options.
I am blessed to have such a fun spot with amazing food within walking distance from my house! They ALWAYS remember me and make me feel SPECIAL!! Love this SPOT
Expensive and mediocre environment. Outside patio was pathetic and we moved to bar. Food and service was great!
El Raval just keeps getting better and better. Gambia's al Ajillo to die for, and the Txakoli wine was sensational. Very buzzy for a Monday evening. Perfect for my meeting.
Amazing food and ambience, loved it all. Also went to Siti the other new restaurant and it was really good as well. Can't wait to go back!
Fantastic tapas and paella. Four of us had three tapas and two different paella and it was Plenty of food.

I booked El Raval for my out-of-town group of 10 after trying for 1st time last month with a friend. 5-star both times and situations. Great ambiance and food and service staff. I got to try more items this time, being with a larger group. The kitchen's execution of the innovative dishes delighted everyone.
We enjoyed a great meal as our meal was superb and the manager and staff were attentive to our needs and extremely helpful with our questions. We enjoyed everything and will return.
Found this place on open table and took a chance while visiting Austin The food was amazing (get the lamb) and our server was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Every dish we had was great. Tables were tight together so a little distracting being that close to others and their conversations Patio is on a busy street so not super great for talking
Not only was the food delicious, but we were surprised to see live entertainment! They had an amazing trio with an incredible singer and also 2 flamenco dancers! Loved it!!!
This is my third year in a row visiting El Raval during the F1 race weekend in Austin, and as usual it was a very pleasant experience. The food is great and at a very reasonable price, and the service and ambiance made the visit a great success. Highly recommend it.
