After covid they got better. It is still one of the best spots for authentic tacos and really good aguas frescas made by hand !

Maybe the best migas I've ever had. Ordered with chorizo and paired with the molcajete sauce. The el pastor taco had great flavor. Service was quick. Prices were super reasonable. Very glad we stumbled upon this place.

Sticking to Las Trancas. Portion sizes are by far one of the worst I've seen in my life for a taco restaurant. Not sure if it was due to ordering corn tortillas but this definitely not acceptable still leaving a skinny guy like me hungry despite eating 3 tacos. Lastly, the salsa tastes watered down or with shortcut low quality ingredients.

The tacos are not that good. Nothing special about them. The green salsa is average. And the red salsa is pretty good. Not a fan that it’s $0.35 a salsa.
Vegetarian options: Multiple vegetarian options on the menu including three vegetarian tacos and multiple breakfast tacos. But the options weren’t that good.

Horrible Tacos, Horrible Service Wouldn't Recommend. Placed order and when I get to the window they tell me they put of what I ordered... on top of that Gave me a couple tacos EMPTY. Check yall food before pulling off!!! This place is Disgusting!!!

I wouldn't be posting this if I'd even be given a "sorry about that"... But I wasn't. I ordered a vegetarian taco, and there were whole strips of bacon on it (not just a little cross contamination). Drove all the way back, informed them that they'd given a vegetarian bacon, and showed them the order... Barely got a response. Eventually, after much discussion between 3 people behind the counter, he tells me, "we're making a new one". No apology, nothing else.
If you're going to ask for tips at a drive thru, you should really improve your service...
After I finally got back with my correct order, food was just OK.

First and foremost, this isn’t Tex-Mex tacos. Probably the closest I’ve had without actually being in Mexico. I had carne guisada and pollo tacos that were top 5 I’ve had in Austin. The beef quesadilla was ok, nothing to write home about. Probably a lot better in taco form. Not sure why there isn’t a line out the door. Leaps and bounds better than torchys and velvet taco! Great food, super nice customer service! All in all cool little spot.
