Stopped in after a night iut and grabbed some tacos. We tried the barbacoa, bistek tacos and beef fajita quesadilla. The barbacoa was a bit greasy but the taste and texture were worth it. All of the food was so good. I see a sign that says East Best Tacos and I can see why. I would definitely come back!! The staff was also super sweet.

Since I moved south, I try to stop by here whenever I'm in Austin. My love for the barbacoa taco, queso and aqua fresca is unmatched anywhere else. Today I tried the Carne Guisada taco as well and it was a 6.5/10 for me. Overall, Always a 10/10 when I stop by.

The bisteck taquito especial is hard to beat, definitely a top contender for Riverside. Very nice salsa bar and margaritas. Perfect pregame for Emos. Clean.

I am so disappointed, I have been coming to El Taquito since I was a little girl. My family and I enjoying ordering their “Especial”. The tiny tacos always cure our taco craving. Unfortunately we tried out the app today to order tacos, and we were left disappointed and the usually helpful cashier was not helpful at all. So the $40 taco order is going to waste. Covered in onion and cilantro, which we did not ask for, and she refused to make it right, called the “manager” who also refused to make it right. Our long time love for El Taquito is over and we will not return again. Now to spend $40 else where to feed my family.
This is easily my new favorite Mexican food in town. I will be coming here from now on. So good!

I didn't like my experience tonight, the meat in the tacos was crumbs, they cooled down instantly must be because of the fans. And Pastor's are not really Pastor, they don't taste like that. The flavor of their tacos has changed a lot. I've known them since they started in a food truck and their tacos were really good and tasty, it's a shame they don't taste the same anymore.

I've been coming here for many many years and one thing I have noticed is that their food isn't consistent. Their beans are either thick or really thin. Their bistec seems to be always cooked differently too. I loved this place back in 2010 or so. Not sure what happened but I still will make it here time to time bc they do have their good days.
