El Tigre offers an amazing drink experience, especially the matcha with cacao mushroom powder. It has an oddly nostalgic taste that’s hard to put into words but keeps you coming back for more. Sitting inside the airstream is cozy, especially in their U-shaped couch corner surrounding a table. It’s the perfect spot to relax and watch the barista work their magic.

Visiting Austin for the first time and just came to El Tigre Coffee on a whim. It’s a nice little neighborhood shop and their coffee is incredible. Ordered their focaccia breakfast sandwich which was also amazing!! Will definitely be back to try some of their other coffee.

Super slow place it took 20 minutes to get my double espresso!!
Was greeted with a very cold “what can I get you” when I had just walked up and was clearly still looking at the menu. When I asked if I could get a short iced latte like a cappuccino size I was then mansplained what a cappuccino was, like I get it I know what it is I just wanted it iced and not as much milk as a latte. He said ok then still gave me a HOT cappuccino. I had said iced three times. I left disappointed and then I went to take a sip and it poured out all over me because the lids don’t fit tightly (and there was zero foam to help hold the liquid). Warned my friend to check her lid so she did but hers also spilled all over her lap.

This place is really nice! I enjoyed sitting at the picnic tables out front, listening to music while sipping a delicious dirty chai latte with oat milk. It’s great for groups. I really liked it here!

This is the best coffee shop in East Austin! They recently had to relocate, and now serve customers in a beautifully refurbished airstream, parked on a spot that used to be a mechanic's shop. Walk inside to order, where you'll be greeted with classy decor, great tunes, and little table on one end if you want to take a seat.
They offer up some tasty, tasty drinks — I looooove their iced chai, and my husband says their espresso, made wth their own roast, is fantastic! — with an assortment of pastries, and breakfast tacos during the week (M-F), then a great little sandwich & salad menu on the weekends.
SUPER friendly barristas, plenty of outdoor seating, and a newly opened, air conditioned, indoor spot with wifi and tons of outlets.
We walk there every other morning or so. Definitely the best local coffee spot in our area!

Second time trying to come here and yet again disappointed that the espresso machine was already shut down a half hour BEFORE closing.
We come here weekly! Always a great cup of joe! The Avocado toast is 10/10 - add an egg, spice up your life and leave with a pep in your step

This inauspicious mobile home houses a fantastic roaster. The quality of the beans and the taste of the coffee is the best we found in Austin. When we travel we always sample local Roasters and have found many wonderful artists. This place is amongst the best.

Great coffee and service, and they don’t charge extra for alternative milks, including pistachio milk, which is not cheap.

I dropped by for an iced oat milk latte. They have several milk alternatives. Fantastic coffee! El Tigre is in a trailer. The inside has limited seating and nice and cool with a fan. There’s plenty of shaded seating outside as well. Very welcoming staff. Small parking lot available. Will definitely return here!

We wanted to check out a local Austin coffee shop to work from. This place stood out as it was in a trailer, but had plenty of seating outside.
The inside only has 1 table, but they have several picnic tables outside to enjoy.
Beans for purchase along with merch.
Cool spot, I’d recommend.
