Yum! Swung by tonight on our weekend ritual of parents night out to try out a new spot, and Elisa's Pastry with their confectionery sweets and patisserie options did not disappoint. They share a space with Shareez's next door but have their own entrance. It's such a cute whimsical space, with a few dining tables out and about to dine in or take home if you don't want to stay.

The service is friendly, and I couldn't figure out what slice I wanted. We settled for a slice of baklava and the Dubai chocolate, both of which were divine! I can't wait to return for our next sweet treat and love that they are near by us for a northwest comfort!

I couldn't rate the food because there was no cake or pastry to purchase. The website claims it closes at 8 pm but by 6:45 pm when I walked in, the place looked just about closed to me.

There was 1 lonely chocolate cake in 1 of the 2 display cases and a few random cake slices in the other case.

I walked in, waited about 3 mins and saw that there was a bell to ring for service. I ring the bell and an annoyed voice from the other side of the wall yells out that she will be right with me.

She looks annoyed that she has to stop whatever she was doing, I figure it wasn't baking because of the lackluster selection.

I asked for a 6" Mocha Roll Cake and she stared at me as if I had 4 eyes and 2 heads. She then just shakes her head NO. I ask if I must order ahead and she blurts out "we don't have it right now". I said thanks and walked out. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

So a pastry/cake shop, 90 mins before closing, does not have any cakes to purchase? Maybe running a storefront is not her thing. Maybe she should make the business exclusively a pre order, custom cake shop.

Will never drive 20 mins again to attempt to try their cake or ever give a dime to this shop. That's even if they even have cakes available for purchase. ZERO STARS!!!

If you are looking for excellent pastries this is the place. I bought a small cake for my husband and was impressed with the quality and taste. I will definitely return and the attention of the owner is excellent 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

“I normally don’t write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience. I ordered my son’s birthday cake today at 1:30 pm, and they told me it would be ready by 6 pm with a call if it was done earlier. To my surprise, I received a call at 4:30 pm saying the cake was ready. However, when I got home and tried the cake, it was completely bland and not edible—definitely not what I expected for an $85 cake (8 inch) . In comparison, a $30 cake from HEB would have been of far better quality.

When I called to report the issue, they asked me to bring the cake back so they could taste it themselves. I found this request incredibly unprofessional and honestly, gross. The poor quality of the cake was disappointing, but the attitude and customer service were even worse. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this shop.”

Delightful experience with Elisa's pastry!
I love these incredible pastries! All the pastries are perfect, but some of my favorites are the cream puff and Napoleon. They are absolutely the best!!!
I ordered the birthday cakes, and they were flawless. The cake was not only beautifully crafted but also incredibly delicious and fresh. The staff and owner were a pleasure to work with, ensuring everything was right. I couldn’t have asked for a better bakery to celebrate such a special moment. I highly recommend it!

I called the owner told me only accepts orders by email, I tried to order by email, and it was taking me to some weird site, so I do not recommend this bakery. Very rude when I called.

If you like to try different pastries from different countries, you should try Elisa Pastry on Anderson Mill. I was there last Wednesday and loved it. Their house coffee called Elisa's especial was excellent. I also tried the Napolean Custard and was the best desert I have ever had. It was light and delicious.

Elisa Pastry provided our daughter's wedding cake last month. Both the cake and it's delivery were perfect. In addition to the wedding cake, they also baked some Persian pastry's to compliment the cake for the wedding. The highest quality cake and pastry's are baked by Elisa Pastry. The owner is easy to work with and has a straight forward approach for conducting her business and dealing with her customers. We were also pleased with the level of service provided by the owner.

Stopped by for some Persian sweets for my Nowrooz (new year) haft seen table and was thrilled to see Elisa is now offering other haft seen items for sale. What a great idea! Some of these items are hard to find, like senjed & samanu. I never get around to growing my own sabzeh and end up using a plastic version each year (I feel I’m cheating and that’s not the way to start the new year!). Elisa rescued me and was kind enough to offer me a free sabzeh with my purchase of a box of Persian cookies! Her pastries are not cheap or super sweet, but rather high quality and delicious. Pro tip - the cardamom tea goes perfectly with the pastries!☕️?
