We wanted to try this place because we always pass by it and thought it would be good to try it. The corn was so disgusting and so were the shaved ice that you couldn't even tell that a shaved ice was more like ice and juice, because that's what it tasted like. Now I know many say it's “good,” but I don't know what to say about it. And apart from being so ugly, the prices were low, two corn and a shaved ice for 28 dollars, that's ridiculous in California, which would be at least 12 dollars and it would actually be good, but this place is not funny at all

It is almost always closed. They should have the hours and days they open well updated. Today Saturday closed and on several weekends the same thing happens. It would be good to put a phone number so as not to go crazy.

The elote is the best I've had in Austin. They use actual white corn, so it's not as sweet as places where they use yellow. I asked for a large elote en vaso with everything and I'll say that if your spice tolerance is low, ask for a little chile or none (they are generous with it and it can definitely get spicy if you don't mix it well). They have a small variety of drinks as well, and once you're done with them, you can recycle the glass bottles right there and then.
