Arrived for lunch on Wednesday before 11 o’clock opening and there was a line formed already. We were seated quickly and soon had warm tortilla chips and spicy salsa in front of us to enjoy. Margaritas on the rocks were perfect, one with tajin. The only disappointment was the queso, it was like ballpark cheese. Hole in the wall place with consistently good food, service, and community. It definitely needs some facilities upgrades, but we doubt those are coming. It's way too loud for older people.
This is my go to taco spot in North Austin for quality sit down Tex Mex. I get the same thing every time, beef fajitas for two, zero complaints! Margaritas are delicious and the staff is always friendly. The wait can be long but if it's under 45 mins it's worth it! The salsa with the chips is quite spicy.
