All of the food was amazing, especially the tuna appetizer with leeks on top of it. We had two orders the Wagyu beef tacos were delicious. We loved the small portions. But it is extremely pricey for the amount of food you get.

Service is outstanding and very accommodating. We reserved a table for 4 inside and we arrived decided the weather was so nice we thought it would be comfortable eating outside on the patio. They were able to change our table after a short wait. This must be about the 5th time we've eaten at Este and I think some items, like small plates that had incredible, unusual and challenging tastes have been removed. I can't remember them exactly though. The only one I remember is a dessert, Elote. I was so looking forward to that. However, it is no longer on the menu. I will be watching for the return of Elote and other adventurous tastes.

We really enjoyed our visit to Este! The food was great overall, and we mostly followed our server's recommendations—which did not disappoint. We did try one dish that wasn't suggested and found it a bit underwhelming. The pricing reflects the pride they take in their cuisine, but the excellent, prompt service and the beautiful, airy ambiance made it a worthwhile experience.

Este never disappoints! It is always an incredible experience every time I dine in. Scott was our wonderful server, who was attentive, knowledgeable, and inviting. His recommendation for the night oyster special, the seasonal salad, and their tacos were on point. I love bringing my friends here and having Este blow them away!

This was our first visit to Este, and it exceeded all expectations! We went to celebrate our anniversary during early happy hour on a Friday, and everything about the experience was exceptional. Este now occupies the former East Side Cafe location, but you'd never know it—the space has been completely transformed. The interior is airy and inviting, with skylights, large windows, and soaring ceilings that create a bright, open atmosphere. The service was outstanding—truly first class from start to finish. We sampled several dishes, and each one was phenomenal. The ceviche, fish tacos, and salad were all beautifully prepared, and the margaritas were simple, fresh, and absolutely perfect. Honestly, I'd feel confident ordering anything on the menu next time because everything we tried was that delicious.

The food and service at Este was excellent. Every dish was fresh, flavourful, vibrant, colourful and impeccably prepared. Our waitress was knowledgeable and attentive and the wine was excellent. The wine list was very expensive but that aside this is a superb restaurant and easily the best food I've had in the USA by some distance. Highly recommended

The food and cocktails (love margaritas made with fresh lime juice and cointreau) were exceptional and since the plates are considered "shareable" the plates do not arrive at the same time. The reason I gave it a rating of 4 for overall and for service was due to we were not served one of the plates ordered-pescado zarandeado. Since it was a whole fish we assumed it would probably take a bit longer to cook. Our waitress did at one time come by our table and told us she would check that order. But when she returned several minutes later with the dessert menus we reminded her about that order. The manager did come and apologize and gave us an option to have it prepared (so do not know if that meant it was not placed or our order was not made or it was served to another party, but we didn't ask.) Since it already had been over 20 minutes we declined. To compensate they offerred us free dessert for each of us and also served us a complimentary glass of prosecco.

Amazing dinner at Este! Authentic contemporary Mexican cuisine done to perfection. Every dish was fresh and full of flavor, and our server Andrew was outstanding, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the food. Beautiful space, seamless valet, easy-to-navigate menu, and top-tier margaritas. Get your hands dirty and try the grilled shrimp, you won't regret it. A flawless night!
