We had the best time at this wine bar and retail shop. Steven, the owner spent quality time with us and we purchased some great bottles. Also had an amazing time with Lynn at the bar, tasting Spanish wines and a few addtl pours by the glass. Fantastic atmosphere.

Excellent spot with highly educated and knowledgeable associates who can help you enjoy delicious wines around the World. Love the Tastings they do.

We have been to The Wine Cellar a few times when we were in the area. Tonight we attended a wine tasting class for the wines of Tuscany. What a treat! We arrived early, mainly to have a bite to eat before the tasting. Not a whole lot of food available, so we shared a couple of sandwiches. Not great, but it hit the spot. They need more food selections!The wine tasting event was first class all the way. A Winebow distributor presentation of wines from Tuscany. Very well presented, the wines presented were very good. The presenter offered extensive knowledge of the area and wineries included in the tasting. The Wine Cellar provided a nice space, somewhat small for the number in attendance. There was a cheese and charcuterie plate on each table. Really nice was the fact that the staff opened and poured the reds about one hour before the class started, giving the bold wines a change to open up a bit before the tasting started.All in all a wonderful evening. The wines presented were all very good. The Wine Cellar has a first-class wine list, comprising some of the "best of the best" from around the world... and at reasonable prices too! Recommend The Wine Cellar for a glass, a bottle, or a wine tasting class!

We had the best time at the Wine Cellar. We had a group of 14 stop in for a bachelorette/families meeting for the first time celebration. Everyone was so nice. We received great recommendations for some Prosecco and Rosé for our celebration. It was the perfect stop in between activities and to pick up extra bottles for the evening. The selection was great and so were the prices. I cannot wait to return for one of the tastings.

It's the "Cheers Bar". Everyone knows everyone and if it's your first time to visit you will know someone before your leave.The best people, the finest wine selections and the best prices.

Best place to drink and or find a bottle of wine in Austin. Hands down! Top notch customer service and an extensive wine list to please any wine lover or connoisseur that walks through the door. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff that really cares about there customers. I have been coming here for years and I would not want to go anywhere else. Always feel welcomed and it’s almost like a second home to me when I come to the wine cellar. Also don’t miss out on their wine tastings. You get to try some amazing wines and learn a lot all the way down to the grape. Amazing experience. Shout out to Steven Lester for always taking care of my wine needs over the years.
