We have been to The Wine Cellar a few times when we were in the area. Tonight we attended a wine tasting class for the wines of Tuscany. What a treat! We arrived early, mainly to have a bite to eat before the tasting. Not a whole lot of food available, so we shared a couple of sandwiches. Not great, but it hit the spot. They need more food selections!The wine tasting event was first class all the way. A Winebow distributor presentation of wines from Tuscany. Very well presented, the wines presented were very good. The presenter offered extensive knowledge of the area and wineries included in the tasting. The Wine Cellar provided a nice space, somewhat small for the number in attendance. There was a cheese and charcuterie plate on each table. Really nice was the fact that the staff opened and poured the reds about one hour before the class started, giving the bold wines a change to open up a bit before the tasting started.All in all a wonderful evening. The wines presented were all very good. The Wine Cellar has a first-class wine list, comprising some of the "best of the best" from around the world... and at reasonable prices too! Recommend The Wine Cellar for a glass, a bottle, or a wine tasting class!

We had the best time at the Wine Cellar. We had a group of 14 stop in for a bachelorette/families meeting for the first time celebration. Everyone was so nice. We received great recommendations for some Prosecco and Rosé for our celebration. It was the perfect stop in between activities and to pick up extra bottles for the evening. The selection was great and so were the prices. I cannot wait to return for one of the tastings.

I'm new to Lakeway (and Texas, via California) and I'm very excited to find this business near my home! I stopped by for a glass and a look around. The owners are wonderful, welcoming and nice, and the selection of wine looks amazing! I enjoyed a glass and then "only" got Paso Robles wines, but I will be back for the great selections from wine region royalty from around the world (Barossa Valley, I'm coming for you). I look forward to the special offering tasting menus, the charcuterie and spending some time here.

After a wonderful massage wanted to have a glass of wine outside with a friend. I had my service dog with me, however, there was only one table outside to sit at but there was another dog who tried to attack my dog nearby. So when we asked to sit inside, they refused to let us in with my service dog. After a heated exchange, I was told "F" You" belittled and verbally attacked by several customers and the owner. I was very appalled and would never recommend this place that was so condescending and refused our service. I have the right to take my service dog wherever I go. This is the most shocking appalling and disrespectful situation I've ever experienced at a public place!! Negative stars!!

Have you ever had something you loved so much that you didn't really want to share it? Well that's the relationship I have with the Wine Cellar. This place is amazing and we love it but like a good secret,kinda want to keep it to ourselves. Their wine selection is the best in town and their prices are amazing. Stephen, Tim and John all know and love their wines and are some of the nicest people we know. They offer weekly tastings that allow you to explore all sorts of different wines affordably. If you love wine, this is your place.
