Update 1 : If you look at the owner’s responses to my review as well as to other customer feedback, you’ll notice a clear change in behavior—rude, disrespectful, and even leaving unnecessary personal comments. On top of that, the prices are already very high, yet tips are still expected, which comes across as greedy. It’s no surprise the truck is almost always empty now, with hardly any customers around.
Update 2: No one’s asking for anything free—it’s just sauces that every other food truck/ restaurant includes. There are plenty of options in the international food park, and they know how to treat long-time customers with respect. I had already cut back on visits, but today was the last straw—just saffron rice with a few tiny falafels and onions/tomatoes called a salad 😀.
Four Years of Flavor—Farewell to Falafel N’ More
For nearly four years, Falafel N’ More has been my go-to for a satisfying meal. The rice and falafel combo was consistently flavorful, and I always appreciated the authentic spices and generous portions. It quickly became a reliable comfort food spot in my weekly rotation.. something I like to think of as “home on a plate.”
What made it even better was the service: always friendly, familiar, and welcoming. Over time, the staff came to know me, making each visit feel less like a transaction and more like greeting old friends.
But lately, things have changed. The rice and falafel now go for about $13 without hummus, and the quantity has noticeably dropped. While I understand that costs rise, this felt like a shift away from the generous portions and fair pricing that first drew me in.
I’m grateful for the memories and for all those meals that brightened long workdays or lazy weekends. Though this chapter is closing for me, Falafel N’ More has earned its place in my personal food-truck hall of fame.
Thank you—and if they can bring back the same portions , quality, service and offer value deals, I might just be back for another round someday.
