Fast Friends Beer Company

Review is based solely on experience downstairs inside main area. The large main room that is made almost entirely of hard surfaces makes for a near rock-concert level of noise when 20-30+ people are trying to talk to each other. They desperately need to put some soft/sound absorbing surfaces up in that area.

I’ve updated this review after coming more regularly. It seems like the first time was just an off day - staff is great, tables are clean, and while dishes are hit or miss, the coffee and beer is great. This is a great place to work!

The food was amaaaazing and the venue is huge! There were so many options for seating both outside and inside. Great place for private events. The atmosphere was top notch. I actually met someone while I was at the bar and I think he might just be my soulmate. We are planning our wedding. (Excuse the face painting. There was a Halloween event.) Don’t get jealous of the handsomeness of my new boyfriend. Yes, as you expect, he will likely look the same in twenty years as he does now. I am a lucky woman. Thank you, Fast Friends, for giving us the opportunity to find love.

Been waiting to try this spot out. Great beer selection, and our beers were good. We ordered to Meat Pizza, it was a bit of a disappointment… the crust was almost raw, the meat topings were good, with great flavor, but way way too much cheese, we basically had to eat the pizza with a fork. We ended up leaving the leftovers. Service was great, and the vibe outside was cool, inside was a little drab. They need some TV’s outside so we can watch some world series games.

New brewery in the south Austin. Very bright and good vibe. Service was great. We tried two different light beer and both were lager type and crisp and tasted real good for the hot summer. The pizza was bigger than we expected and it was good for two people. Will definitely come back!

First time here and will definitely be repeat customers. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive and the drinks / food are top notch! Enjoyed a nice evening outside. Everything was very clean.

Great beer, pizza and atmosphere

I was excited to try this place, especially since it’s close by, and we were told we could watch a football game there. Upon arriving, we confirmed they’d be able to put the game on for us (we would have gone somewhere else if they couldn’t). After being assured they could, we placed our order. However, after sitting for 20 minutes, we were informed that no one knew how to change the channel except the manager, who was apparently in a meeting at 8:30 p.m. on a Friday night. In the end, we gave this place a chance but ended up wasting our time and money.

We recently had a work outing for Roots Integrative Vet at Fast Friends Brewing Company, and it was an absolute blast! The team was incredibly professional and attentive, making sure all of our needs were met seamlessly. The venue itself is fantastic—spacious and versatile, perfect for both small gatherings and larger events. You could even host a meeting there if needed! The food and beer were top-notch, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. We highly recommend Fast Friends Brewing and will definitely be back!

I'll admit, their beer is good. However, David Childress treats his employees like garbage, which is why they are constantly turning over. They've lost their head chef, their Director of brewing, and many of their awesome, original employees, not to mention the fact that they are ALWAYS out of food. Fast Friends won't be receiving another dime from me.
