And when I finally spoke with him, he was very rude. I just walked out while there I went to use the restroom. The restroom was disgusting. The soap container Was on the floor and spilled everywhere so how are the employees even washing their hands the place looks rundown and really should have a visit from the health inspection

The tonkotsu ramen is my go to. I always forget to take a photo when I make a review. Anyways, this isn’t one of those high class fancy a** five star restaurants. It’s a simple, make you feel at home restaurant. I feel at home when I’m eating here. Love this place, and I don’t know why I didn’t discover it sooner. I’ll be here again.

I came here because a reviewer said the vegan options were clearly marked. I didn't see anything on the paper menus on each table. but the nice book menus by the register have the dishes clearly marked with a green V. I enjoyed my vegan chinese dishes here. They were very quickly served and very delicious I asked for soft tofu(not fried) for my kung pao tofu and it was great! mu seaweed salad was very tasty as well
Vegetarian options: the paper minions are not clearly marked which are the vegan options . however the formal book menus by the register do have them clearly marked then it's wonderful

Holy guacamole this place is probably going to be my go to for Chinese food. Best hot and sour I've found in austin. Wok on fire a long time ago when i lived south was real good but they changed. I think 888 pan had decent hot and sour and I want to try din ho but they charging an arm and a leg for theirs. Orange beef was amazing usually kinda our go to dishes. The only two things I can say bad is you can't sub for fried rice honestly I don't care that was my brother's request I feel like white rice brings out the dish more almost like a good palate cleanser. and the second being the fried rice lacked msg or something but maybe that's just me and maybe its just me but who goes to an asian restaurant for just fried rice. Oh and the portions are large and for a good price. Pf changs sucks haha don't understand why they have 2 plus k reviews but hey let's keep this our lil secret or they may drop food quality if they get too big like other restaurants. Much love I'm glad I found y'all

Hole in the wall jade gem - very low key but all the money went into their menu. Excellent staple Chinese-American dishes as well as traditional Chinese favorites like soup dumplings and red bean buns. A selection of pan-asian options also available.

Delicious food, great prize, generous portions. I like the General Tso chicken but occasionally mix it up with other chicken dishes. The cream cheese puffs and an ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE! The portions are incredible, the flavor is amazing, everywhere else over charges for the same or worse product, we go out of our way to Fat Dragon for the cream cheese puffs alone. We always take our food home though and you can order online and pick up. Also, complementary unsweetened tea while you wait and amazing to-go set up with bowls, plates, boxes, etc. I love this place!
Ordered food for pickup from Fat Dragon on 1/19 and am so disappointed. We chose this place because of the seemingly good reviews and the egg rolls that looked great. Got our food in 20 min and noticed that the heat was not on in the restaurant upon food pickup. It was 25 degrees F outside so that was odd and seemed unusual. The food appeared okay and was hot. However upon eating it we quickly found two major issues. 1. We ordered orange chicken and received general Tsos. Not a super big deal compared to our second problem. 2. In the chicken we found a long grey/black hair. GROSS! After this we were so disgusted and just couldn’t eat our food. Needless to say we will not be coming back. Save your money!

Tried Fat Dragon as delivery when my local go to place closed. I was AMAZED by the food, and the portions. This was easily 2+ meals for myself and every piece of chicken was perfect. Broccoli chicken is typically my go to and this is the best one I've had hands down. Soft, savory, with an amazing amount of sauce.
Not pictured is a large container of rice that was also 2 meals worth. So tasty especially with the sauce. Cream cheese puffs were also delicious! A lovely amount of filling with the perfect crispy outside.
Tried the miso & hot sour soup as well and both were delicious, and such a great portion size as well. Delicious for dipping in too.
This will now be the go to place. The quality of everything was top notch. Definitely recommend checking them out or getting it delivered on a night in.
