I'm not in Austin very often so when I come to town I try to make sure and try something different. Decided to try Fat Dragon because I wanted some real soup dumplings. It was so good. I actually came back a second time a few days later.

Always good. Love the dumplings and the pineapple beef and fried rice. We have never had a bad meal here.

Just had lunch at Fat Dragon Chinese Food! Their soup dumplings were like little pockets of happiness, bursting with flavor. The egg rolls were crispy and addictive, and don't even get me started on the hot and sour soup - it was ! Service was minimal, but hey, they've got self-serve drink and utensil stations, so no biggie. Overall, Fat Dragon totally nailed it with their delicious dishes. If you're craving some awesome Chinese food, this is the spot to hit up!

Love this hidden gem of a place. If you want fantastic sushi for an affordable price this is the place to be. The vibe is really chill. And we got free gyoza too! Great service!

This place is a hidden gem. Do yourself a favor and go now before it becomes popular. Great food, super fresh. And the service was awesome. Will definitely be going back soon.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is 100% wheelchair accessible. The restrooms are very spacious as well.

Quiet on a Saturday night. Rolls were good. Prices were great. Nothing fancy but great value. Little disappointed that they marketed “albacore” as fatty tuna (never seen that before in my life) and the fatty salmon was the smallest piece of nigiri I’ve ever received with almost no fat. Stick to the rolls. Sushi chefs usually trim off that piece and don’t feed it to customers. Either way I enjoyed my visit and 2 ate and drank for $100 after tip. Well worth it

Already a fan of fat dragon so I had to try the new concept. Was delighted by the flavor and presentation of the sushi. Will be coming back to try the poke and nigiri.

Great food, great quality, great price. Unique chocolate soup dumplings. Authentic Chinese food.

Service: The person at the counter has no personality and seems like they hate being there. The ladies that cook and bring the food are very friendly and kind. Food: it's ok. The creamy vegetarian ramen was terrible. The Singapore noodles were good. The dumplings were not great quality.

This place has gone way down hill. I used to order food here about 1-2 times a week, but for the last few months it has been mediocre at best. I started going here because Rice Bowl Cafe was a bit of a drive, but I'll just drive the extra 5-10 minutes for good Chinese food.

This was quite the hidden gem! The service was exceptional and the food amazing! I had the hibachi chicken and gyozas. I’ve eaten at many spots in Austin but this little spot was by far one of the best.
