Our order comprised two steak and chicken plates with two sides of fried rice. The primary concern was the overcooked and dry meat; given the $90 price, comparable to a fine-dining experience, the quality was unsatisfactory. Although the vegetables and ample rice portions were acceptable, the fried rice itself fell short of expectations. In summary, the meat quality did not warrant the cost, resulting in a perception of overpricing.

I give this place 5 stars. I don't mind driving a good 30-40min. The service is great. The lady is always super friendly when I call in to place my order and the food is always correct and good!

We came for a casual dinner on a Thursday evening and left with so much more. Immediately we were great by the sweetest young lady who I could see was super busy but stopped made eye contact & ask how our day was. We ordered the filet mignon and chicken combo. I wish I could have taken a picture but it was sooo good to begin with by the time I stopped it was gone. The only thing that topped the food was the amazing customer service. The crew working this evening was greeting everyone like if they were family. My partner and I chose to eat there and they were constantly checking up on us and making sure we were okay. They even gave us a hefty sample of their fried rice to taste along with an extra Coca-Cola and sauce. The service was beyond remarkable. The employees at FatBoyz are kinfolk. You can tell they all truly care about the quality of their food and the image they are putting out. Thank you for making my Thursday night !

My husband and I came to this food truck yesterday and ordered (2) of the surf and turf plates. after adding fried rice and upgrading from beef to fillet Mignon come out to $43 dollars a plate. Which is not cheap at all! What we received was far from worth $43 dollars and I feel that it is only right to inform others before buying anything from this food truck.
This hibachi was some of the worst I have ever had. Everything was significantly overcooked to the point that the fillet Mignon was inedible, it was so overcooked that it was a choking hazard. We asked for our steak to be cooked medium, so the fact that the meat was so dry and could not be eaten after spend additional money for this option was very disappointing
In addition to this, buying a surf and turf plate, it comes with a lobster tail. They had the lobster tail shell nicely placed in the box with literally (3) very small bits of lobster meat and on top of that they were very overcooked. It was quite obvious that they are not giving you a whole lobster tail for your order they are more than likely splitting the lobster tail and serving in these plates 1/4 of the lobster meat in each order. My thing is why put an entire lobster shell on the plate if you’re not going to give the customer the entire lobster tail.
I think I have to agree with the other previous reviews on this. There plates are extremely rice heavy, the plate is 70% rice , 20% veggies, 10% meat
The price point, the quality of the food, and what you receive is not worth the money.. the cost that we spent at this food truck we could had went to a nice steakhouse and seafood restaurant and got properly cooked food.
Lastly, please be aware that the location of this food truck is not in the safest areas. While waiting for our food one of the customers ran into the side of my husbands car, fortunately our car was not damaged but when we got out of vehicle to address the issue, the driver pulled almost pulled out a gun on us, and got very upset. Just be careful coming to this establishment the customer base are not the most civilized.
There needs to be some major improvements to their business model and food practices.

Great food, huge portions, & friendly service ! The wait can be a little longer than usual places but well worth the wait!
This place has good food, but small portions of meat, tons of rice and okay amount of veggies. The sauce is good.One time the meat was overcooked when ordering medium.Went to grab lunch at 12:39pm on Wednesday only to find out they weren’t open. So only PM hours are guaranteed.
