Five Four Restaurant & Drafthouse- S Austin

I loved everything about this restaurant! Atmosphere, food and especially the customer service! I just wanted to give a shout out to the Manager Jesus. His engagement with my husband and I was the best. And for him we will continue on coming in. We live in Dripping Springs and drove all the way there to have lunch. We left feeling so happy. Just food for thought please open a restaurant in Dripping Springs. We have to drive 45min to an hour outside of Dripping just to have a nice lunch.

so I have been a huge fan of 54th street for over 15 years and have always had a great experience at all San Antonio locations, however I live about 3 min from this location and I order carry out A LOT!!(at least once a week) Today we decided to go with my grandparents to eat at the restaurant & for starters the server was off to a good start from the first 5 min but after we ordered our drinks, we didn’t get any of them all service except for water and we asked twice and he said the machine was down the first time but it would be out shortly… well 15-20 min go by and still no drink or APPETIZER so we told him to just take it off the check, which he Then asked if we wanted it to-go and I said no I want off the check Because why am I gonna pay $5.50 for a drink that I cannot even enjoy with my meal & on top of that, we never got our appetizer either (gringo dip with chips) which is crazy because that’s never happened before. So both were taken off the check, but after this encounter, he started being very quick and dismissive with us and was ready to get us out the door.. we had been very respectful the entire time so I don’t understand what that was about. Anyways, it’s time to pay for the bill, I even left him a tip, and after he just walked away from the table did not tell us “Have a good night” “thanks for coming” literally nothing!!!!! Also, I had ordered two kids meals during our visit & only got one apple juice!! Which I was supposed to get two ice creams and two Apple juice.
I have a one year-old so I had to take her to the car while my Grandma waited for the ice cream and 2nd apple juice which he only handed her one ice cream!!
Which is so ridiculous. I paid for food that I did not get. (1 apple juice and 1 ice cream that comes with the meal)

Everything about the visit was awesome. Our first time here, as keto eaters, we tend to have a lot of questions. They were able to get us celery sticks instead of chips for the Chicago spinach and artichoke dip. Ribs with sauce on the side and they were quite tasty. Plenty of veggie side options. Service was top notch and the value was unprecedented for 2025. We're coming back for sure!

Decided to go here on my birthday it was okay the wait for the food was way too long for how simple the food was just some wings. The service was fairly good but slow our waitress disappeared we had to ask for her to come to our table. Was not a fan of the picante sauce that they brought out with the chips it tasted more like marinara sauce so we didn't use it but for 10 bucks you think the dipping sauce would be a little better. The manager kind of took attitude when I told him that the food was taken too long didn't like that at all either I'm guessing he's the manager I don't know who he was didn't care to ask.

Was just okay. A bit pricey for what you're getting, nothing bad per se, just run of the mill sports bar food, maybe slightly elevated, but at that price point I'd rather go somewhere smaller and more local- feeling.

I went here to watch the cowboy game today with my boyfriend and even though we lost it was a great experience. Emma was my server and she was very attentive, friendly, and overall just a great server.

10 of us gathered here to watch our favorite college football team. The atmosphere was amazing with all over tv screens and great seating. The food and drinks were delicious and good prices. Emma our waitress was so nice and attentive! Perfect for our next gathering, we will be recommending you to everyone! 🧡🤘🏼

This place is a great example of why I think it's important to try any place twice. The first time I went, I found myself underwhelmed. The burger I got was good, but not very memorable. The second time I went, I got boneless wings tossed in lemon pepper garlic and was completely blown away. They demanded my attention, with an explosive flavor very uncharacteristic of lemon pepper at most wing places I've tried. I got the big daddy mac and cheese for my entree and it was a great showing - real bacon chunks, chicken was flavorful, and most importantly the cheese sauce was done very well.

The service was also exceptional at this location. When the food took a bit longer than normal, they comped the entire entree entirely unprompted.

I picked this place off Google the atmosphere was good walking in, ee had never been to this place but I was glad that we went, the portions are good and there a bunch of options for whatever you like to eat. will definitely return! Service wad very friendly and informative.

Saturday afternoon lunch was fantastic! No wait, great atmosphere, excellent service and food. Nico was an attentive server who made perfect suggestions and made the dining experience that much more enjoyable. The French dip sandwich was delicious and my wife's chicken fried steak was exactly what she was craving. Gravy to die for and an incredible selection of beers, cocktails, and mocktails, making this a idyllic first time at Five Four!
Thanks for a great meal and we are already looking forward to our next visit!
