Fixe is a MUST when coming to Austin,TX!!! I cannot recommend this place enough! The staff were amazing, they made our experience one of a kind! Huge thanks to James Robert for the amazing night that was had. The drinks, apps, entrees and desert were D E L I C I O U S! My daughters went in my place to this reservation as I got called away for work. They loved their meal. Their only complaint was that the piece of pie was small, not really shareable and it was not warmed up. Otherwise, thumbs up!!

We dined at Fixe on New Year's Eve. The restaurant was smokey like there has been a problem in the kitchen. Our server rushed us through our meal. The appetizers and salads were good. Two of us ordered the halibut and it was VERY salty and fishy tasting. We notified our server and she said she would notify the chef. She returned and unceremoniously dumped a piece of pecan pie on our table saying it was because of the salty/fishy halibut. She did not bring dessert menus or discuss other options for the others at the table. We paid out nearly $400 bill and left. We will not be returning anytime soon.

I visited Fixe on Christmas Eve and had an excellent experience from start to finish. I was seated at the bar and taken care of by three bartenders Curren, Cheryl, and Chris along with Donnie, and the service was outstanding. The bartenders were attentive without being overwhelming, kept my water refreshed, and made a perfectly balanced and refreshing lemon drop martini. The bar ran smoothly, and it was clear the team works exceptionally well together. For appetizers, I ordered the biscuits, which absolutely lived up to the hype—flaky, warm, and paired with organic honey. I also had the deviled eggs, which were light, fresh, and very well done. For my entrée, I ordered the New York strip special, cooked to a perfect medium and seasoned beautifully, along with the crispy potato beignets, which were a standout side and incredibly flavorful. I also had the chance to speak with Jack, the manager that evening, who was welcoming, professional, and clearly hands-on. The restaurant was extremely well run, and his leadership showed throughout the night. To finish, I ordered the pecan pie with ice cream—a generous portion, served warm, and the perfect ending to the meal. Overall, everything from the food to the service was excellent. I highly recommend Fixe and will absolutely be back.

We had a wonderful meal from the biscuits to the Fixe Caesar salad, roasted cauliflower and a red fish served in a fantastic broth. Service was tremendous and the cocktails and wine list are well thought out.

Justin was an excellent server, he was always on top of our water and coffee fill ups and anything else we needed. the shrimp and grits were amazing as well as everything else. Very fresh food. The seats were so comfy in the aisle would love to sit there everytime. Will definitely return more frequently.
