Justin was an excellent server, he was always on top of our water and coffee fill ups and anything else we needed. the shrimp and grits were amazing as well as everything else. Very fresh food. The seats were so comfy in the aisle would love to sit there everytime. Will definitely return more frequently.

I love Fixé and will return. I would recommend people not go on busy nights. The biscuits are fantastic and knowing that any fish I order off their menu will be perfectly cooked is a lovely guarantee. It has a cool vibe upscale but not pretentious.

I live just down the street from Fixe and finally stopped in for a meal. The brisket sandwiches were seriously good, tender, and full of flavor. I ordered the brussels sprouts on the side and they were a great match. Their biscuits are still the standout for me though. They are soft, warm, and just really comforting.
Fixe is one of those places that feels reliable for a solid meal and I am glad it is so close to home. I am already looking forward to going back.

Fixe is a must for brunch when you visit Austin. Homemade biscuits like your granny used to make. Delicious! Don’t skip out on this wonderful restaurant in downtown. They serve fried chicken, which one in our party said was incredibly good. The French toast was amazing, on the sweet side for me, however still delicious. Salads, grits were great and plenty for leftovers. And please don’t forget the cinnamon rolls, Omgoodness yummy!

The biscuits—order the biscuits before you do anything after getting to your seat, they are hot and delicious. The tables are spaciously placed, and the chairs comfortable. Our waitress Brooke was friendly and polite and informative. After the biscuits I ordered the halibut. It arrived perfectly booked and the accompanying fingerlings and asparagus were swimming in a small portion of beautiful, and tasty soup. The food prices are average for that quality. I didn't order wine because there were very few by-the-glass selections, and I felt those they did offer were expensive. I would definitely eat here again!

Top customer service! My daughter has a gluten allergy and I emailed restaurant. The chef answered me right away, knew my reservation date and time and put me at ease. Gave us choices and they were knowledgeable of gluten allergy. Once we arrived they mentioned we were there for a bday and made us aware everyone knew of my daughters allergy. Our waiter was informative and great help. Our dinner was delicious. Biscuits were to die for!
The service was phenomenal 👏! We ordered the biscuits as appetizers, which warmed our hearts. The fried chicken was moist and seasoned well. The kale salad that came with it was too salty (that's my only negative review). The portion size was spot on. I would definitely return for lunch or dinner.

We went for Sunday brunch. There was not a single plate that was not delicious. Star of the show was the biscuits though. Absolutely like no other biscuit this Southern girl has ever had. We also ordered the pimento cheese/focaccia, the standard (bacon, egg, cheese) biscuit, herbivore (grits!) and French toast. Every bite was incredible. The Fixe knows how to make bread! The Bloody Marys were wonderful too! Can't wait to return, I've been thinking about those biscuits multiple times a day!
