Great place to gain workplace experience but a lot of lay offs just like at Dell. There's not that many manufacturing jobs in Austin since most of these jobs are now overseas. That's why tech companies these days are creating more office jobs than manufacturing jobs.
This is the best company ever, started as a temp and when your work is appreciated trust me, after 5 months being a contractor I was hired on permanent they will recognize the hard work you do for them. i would go back to this company any time. Well I have to say it was my first job in the US, it was not terribly bad, but It was below average, back then we had a good supervisor who was an ex-military, we are still in touch, but overall the experience was below average, If i would pass by oneday I will drive around just to remember them days
