“Great Food, Atmosphere and Overall Experience“

“It was a sunny Thursday afternoon. We were in the mood for some tacos and bbq, and decided to check out a food truck park.

This place was very nice, half a dozen trucks with variety of choices, Venezuelan, thai, Mexican, bbq, and even a pastry truck.

We had the tacos and beef ends. Both were very delicious. Would recommend this park.“

“As of September 2024, two new food trucks have arrived, Hippy Eats (Vegan Cuisine), and Original New Orleans Po Boy and Gumbo Shop. Conscious Cravings, Stonehouse and Streamway Coffee are still alive and thriving. It’s a beautiful location by the lake, lots of trees and wildlife amidst the crowds, and this is the best place in Austin to bring your dog for some exercise and social play.“

“Loved all the different choices they had. From grilled cheese, to BBQ, to Japanese rice and noodle bowls. The portions are great sized and pricing was reasonable. Highly recommend giving them a try.“

“Loved our meal at this food truck park. So many options, including options for those who don't eat red meat or vegetarians! Loved the egg rolls from the Thai place 'Coat & Thai'; enjoyed a fresh chicken taco at 'Tacos'; and truffle fries and mozarella sticks at the Panini truck! Filling meal with many delicious nibbles :)“

“While this place is has alot of rare fruits and vegetables and a wide selection of Asian delectables, it is busy. Wall to wall. I rather go during the week when its not so crowded. Food court, we had the Korean chicken and another beef rib dish. Food is excellent. The restaurants are fast.“

“This place definitely knows it's niche. They serve authentic Chinese noodles (as expected given that the menu items are listed in Chinese as well). Overall a great experience, you'll know if you like the place after one visit. Keep in mind though this is the food truck variant of the restaurant; there isn't free water and there aren't any restrooms in the vicinity.“

My girlfriend's Latina, and I’ve had more incredible homemade meals from her talented family than I ever had PB&Js growing up… and this somehow blows them all out of the water.

God help me if she ever sees this—I’ve already met my annual chancla-to-the-head quota.“

“I recently visited Egg Laari and ordered their only paneer dish. I think it was called paneer gatalo. It was the perfect portion since I wasn’t super hungry, and it was just the right amount of food I needed. To my surprise, it happened to be their one year anniversary, so they gave me a complimentary gulab jamun as a thank you gift, which was a nice touch. All the food was good, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was friendly. I would definitely come back and try out other dishes. Highly recommend!“

“I’ve never tried oxtails in my life, and they knocked it out of the park! The greens are cooked perfectly and the cornbread made me feel like I was at home.“

“IL Saporis Italian, Texas Schwarma, Manoli's Ice Cream Pastries and Cake as well as 24pho7 all serve their glorious food here at the corner of Live Oak and S. 1st Street. Where do I start? What they all have in common....homemade!! Seriously delicious, such high quality and affordable. Now you just have to decide what mood you're in. :)“

“Nobody comes here for the service of the atmosphere, they come here for tasty food, items, served fast, at excellent prices, and that’s what Costco delivers at the food court. I haven’t tried everything, but what I’ve tried has been great. And there’s no better value Than the hotdog and drink for a dollar and a half. This has been their hook for decades and it’s only gone up a few cents. I also am happy that at least this Costco uses biodegradable straws, so that’s great.“

“Devon and his wife have worked hard to bring flavorful, exotic and just darn good food to everyone. Their food is flavorful, delicious, and ignites your tastebuds. If you haven’t tried their food frankly shame on you. The peri peri chicken will leave you in a food coma. The curry chicken is AMAZING. The first bite will send your tongue into a food-gasm😂😂!! When you bite into this food not only do you taste the love that is poured into these dishes. You get authenticity. Honestly I thank Devon and his wife for this small glimpse into South African culture. They serve you with a smile and they are never in that much of a hurry to shoo you away no matter how busy they are. I almost forgot the samosa’s. A MUST TRY!! Don’t take my word for it. “Find them at a farmers market and have the. Make you their fantastic Turkish coffee.It is rich and delicious. It is also fun to watch them make.They let you take your coffee cup and go sit or you can have a traditional to go cup is you need. I say go for the full experience.Sitting in the sun, sipping g excellent coffee and listening to live music at the farmers market. It doesn’t get much better.“
