I’ve lived in this neighborhood for years and have always seen this place but never bothered to go. The garbanzo salad was amazing! Baked goods were amazing too. Not too expensive for Austin either. Will definitely be back!

I discovered this place a long time ago and hadn't been there in since before the pandemic. My mistake!They have some of the absolute best sandwiches and prepared meals you're going to find in Austin. No joke!It's a casual little deli with not a ton of seating. Show up at lunchtime and you'll have a long line because the regulars know this place and come back often.The sandwich selection is nice and they'll customize any sandwich anyway you want it. I had one of the best chicken salad sandwiches I've ever eaten there today. There's a nice selection of breads and additions.They have all sorts of great prepared meals like chicken pot pie, King Ranch casserole. They also make really excellent empanadas. I brought home a chicken pot pie empanada to have for dinner today.Least I forget, there's incredible baking going on there. They have the best chocolate eclairs I've eaten in Austin. Many other homemade right there desserts. Unfortunately I don't eat sugar anymore, so I can just stare at them with desire.Try this little, hidden gem, you will not be sorry!

We had an amazing lunch experience at Food Food! I ordered the J.C. Special, and my husband opted for the Turkey Bacon Club. The food was not only delicious but also incredibly generous in portions; we had plenty of leftovers to enjoy later. I wholeheartedly recommend Food Food! to everyone looking for a memorable and satisfying meal. We’ll definitely be returning! ♥️
