Very flavorful food with a good Cajun spice. Many dishes I can't wait to try.

Po boy's are excellent here. Lots of spicy cajun options too. Feels like a much fancier place given the reasonable meal prices at lunch time. Eat here all the time and it's always delicious with friendly staff.

Excellent food and service. I had the pecan crusted trout with shrimp in a cream sauce, it was absolutely delicious. So was the fried green tomatoes topped with crab. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

We love to come here. The food is always expertly prepared and delicious. Great cocktails. I had the Sazarac. The Oysters Rockafeller is so good. A fried oyster on top of each broiled oyster. We usually get the redfish Ponchatrain, but tonight we had the special. Blackened flounder with a lemon caper dill cream sauce topped with shrimp. Stewed cabbage and mashed potatoes. Hot bread and seasoned butter. The Tabasco cheesecake is really good for dessert. Prompt and friendly service. Prices are reasonable for the quality. When I step inside I feel like I'm transported to New Orleans!

The food doesn't represent the culture of Louisiana as it should. Not much flavor going on here at all.

This place is great. Small , quiet, good food and good service. We said we had to come back as soon as we were finished.

I'm from Baton Rouge, and this place is my favorite New Orleans style restaurant in the Austin area. My wife and I have been here many times. The food is always excellent, and the service is prompt and attentive without being overbearing. Our favorites are the Catfish gumbo, Stuffed catfish, Redfish Pontchartrain, fried crawfish tails, Oysters Rockefeller, and key lime pie, though I'm usually too stuffed to order dessert. They serve Community coffee, which my wife loves. And to top it off, their prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food served.

In Austin and have a take for the Big Easy. This is the place. French Quarter Grille has many options. Great portions and seasoned to perfection. When I’m visiting Austin I’ll always go here first.

wanted to share some feedback about my recent visit. I walked in and wasn’t greeted. When I asked a question, the staff member ignored me and I had to ask again and responded slowly to say that the place wasn’t open yet. If customer service isn’t their strength, it might be worth considering someone else for the front.
